★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived late into ispra and needed to find a restaurant quickly. Didnt fancy the hotel food. This was top rated on tripadvisor. Struggled to interpret the menu into english but with some help from google i had pork sausages, saurkraut and fried potatos my girlfriend vegetable ravioli. Very tasty and well priced. The beer was very good. Would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice restaurant with great authentic German home cooked food and amazing beer. Beautiful garden area outside for sunny days and cosy interior for the winter. Very clean and spacious with super nice staff. Now with COVID sad you can only guess the smiles behind the masks. Definitely worth a visit!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a treat: Authentic Bavarian food & drinks served in a cosy restaurant with spacious & quiet outdoor beer garden. The owners are originally from Bavaria and take great care of their guests. Everything is delicious but my favorites are pork knuckle, Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu and Käsespätzle. Ask for their new dessert ‘Weizenbier-sorbet’. I can definitely recommend the restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A real gem of authentic Bavarian cuisine close to Lago Maggiore. Following a recommendation have been there for lunch with my family and friends and we all enjoyed great hospitality and super delicious food (Schnitzel with potato salad). Will return to check out the other dishes very soon.
