F	FERNANDO DEL CAMPO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cenamos aquí de casualidad, al pasar por delante, y reservar (sin ver el menú)... 2 sorpresas: carta muy corta de platos (3 o 4 entrantes, ídem primeros, así como segundos), y extensa de vinos. Nos ofrecieron pasta fresca fuera de carta (elegiéndola mis hijos adolescentrs). Platos sofisticados, sin explicación (difíciles de entender para un extranjero...), sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que no hay cobertura de móvil (2* sorpresa). Relación precio-calidad correcta, servicio amable y lugar bonito y agradable... Aconsejable para ir con pareja..., ¡y conociendo el menú! We dined here by chance, passing by, and making a reservation (without seeing the menu) ... 2 surprises: very short menu of dishes (3 or 4 starters, first ditto, as well as second ones), and extensive wine list. They offered us fresh pasta off the menu (my adolescent children chose it). Sophisticated dishes, without explanation (difficult to understand for a foreigner ...), especially considering that there is no mobile coverage (2 * surprise). Correct price-quality ratio, friendly service and nice and pleasant place ... Advisable to go with a couple ..., and knowing the menu!

Probabilmente il cuoco è cambiato, perché ho trovato un menù molto diverso. Anche i tavoli all’aperto non sono più ingentiliti da luci, piante officinali e candele. Tutto molto spartano. Il piatto vegetariano buono. Pinzini discreti ma accompagnati da prosciutto scadente e tre fettine di salame. Servizio cordiale, ma lento. Prezzi nella norma. Historic restaurant in Ferrara, with tables also outdoors. After a year, I returned. Probably the cook has changed, because I found a very different menu. Even the outdoor tables are no longer graced by lights, medicinal plants and candles. All very basic. The vegetarian dish is good. Discreet pinzini but accompanied by poor ham and three slices of salami. Friendly, but slow service. Prices in the norm.
F	Francesco Paolini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mai più! Un menù con 4 cose in tutto delle quali nessuna allettava particolarmente, avremmo voluto mangiare qualcosa di tipico della zona ma non c'era. Preso due piatti di pasta completamente insipidi, il sale non era stato nemmeno sfiorato (a me il sale messo dopo fa schifo). Mentre mangiavamo nel tavolo a fianco sono arrivati dei capellacci di zucca a burro e salvia molto belli da vedere... però noi nel menù non li avevamo visti se no li avremmo presi, quelli sì che sono tipici della zona. Interpellato il cameriere ha risposto "ma quelli non sono nel menù perchè li abbiamo sempre!"... e una persona come fa a sapere che avete sempre delle pietanze se non sono nel menù? Anche l'organizzazione ci è sembrata un pò in crisi e dire che non erano pieni ci saranno stati la metà dei tavoli vuoti. Morale... noi lì non ci torniamo più. Never again! A menu with 4 things in all of which none particularly appealed, we would have liked to eat something typical of the area but it wasn't there. I took two completely insipid pasta dishes, the salt hadn't even been touched (to me the salt put after sucks). While we ate at the next table, some pumpkin hair with butter and sage arrived, very nice to look at ... but we hadn't seen them on the menu or we would have taken them, the ones that are typical of the area. When asked, the waiter replied "but those are not on the menu because we always have them!" ... and how does a person know that you always have dishes if they are not on the menu? Even the organization seemed a bit in crisis and to say that they were not full there must have been half of the empty tables. Moral ... we never go back there.

Il cibo era buono, un pò costoso, l'antipasto era giusto, mentre il primo era un pò scarso, c'erano 8 cappellacci di zucca, forse pensano che se uno prende prima gli affettati come antipasto e poi il primo, sia adeguato mettere meno cappellacci, sotto questo punto di vista può avere senso, però costano comunque tanto. Pertanto si il cibo era buono, un pò costoso, non so se ci ritornerei nonostante non mi sia trovata male. Nice location. Menu with little choice unfortunately. The food was good, a little expensive, the appetizer was right, while the first was a little poor, there were 8 pumpkin hats, perhaps they think that if one takes the cold cuts first as an appetizer and then the first, it is appropriate to put less hats, from this point of view it can make sense, but they still cost a lot. So yes the food was good, a little expensive, I don't know if I would go back although I didn't find it bad.
