★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst dinning experience in a Michelin starred restaurant :
1, The waiter took away my plate without asking when I was still having it. I had to stop him myself
2, I asked for a decanter when the waitress opened the wine, after 20 mins , the manager came to ask me if I need a decanter.
3, When I was about leaving , I asked concierge to call me a cab, yes I had to ask myself,no one tried to help . But then even though I asked , the concierge lady just refused with a reason that there's always taxi out there.
This restaurant didn't show any respect at all , the atmosphere there doesn't seem to be a 2-star one either . I've never ever seen any 2 or 3 starred one accepting gentlemen wear shorts and sneakers .Not even once.
The restaurant screwed the definition of fine dinning , and the very basic respect to human being. I'm sorry I ruined my trip on day 1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have lost all respect in the Michelin institution and rating. First the venue: finding yourself locked underground in a “luxury cellar” winter-like style with no view was a disappointment but the worst was the food!! Don’t expect refined Italien cuisine....you will get a French-like imitation of “menu à dégustation”. This is the kind of place where you have couples come to experiment something completely different and by the way you will remember your experience there but unfortunately at least for my wife and I this was a real bad experience and takes away everything that Capri has to offer. Shame on you Michelin!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent fine dining experience. They have paid attention to the small details to make dining an art form. Dinner for two: One starter shared. One pasta shared. One veal main. One pork main. Three glasses of wine and a cheese platter: €309. They added a number of extras like a welcome refreshment, a special dessert on the house, and a takeaway bag of sweets. Extremely professional staff. Bread cart. Cheese cart. It’s a world-class dining experience. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did the 7-course tasting menu and quite frankly I was only impressed by one dish I was served. Everything I was ate was somewhat bland with the exception of the lamb. I even returned the tuna belly dish because it was extremely fishy and neither myself nor my husband could eat it. I am extremely disappointed, I don’t expect this from a Michelin Star restaurant, much less a 2 star winner.
I expected flavor explosions and not once did that occur. I wish I hadn’t just spent over 200 euros per person at this restaurant, and they just refund 10 euros for the dish that we returned ridiculous.
However, I must admit the service was impeccable. The servers were super attentive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking forward to eating here and what I experienced was nothing in comparison.
I really don’t recommend ordering the tasting menu. If you want to go check it out, get a la carte because the food is not worth spending a fortune.
I got the tasting menu and sent a dish back, leaving me with 6/7 courses. I didn't feel I was compensated fairly for only receiving 85% of the courses planned.
Anyways, 2 stars because the service is good and some dishes were above average.

To start, the service is beyond reproach. Best I've had in my entire life.
We had dinner for two, each with a 5 course meal. The food here is art in preparation, presentation, and flavour.
Throughout the meal, different carts were brought by the staff with various additions to your meal from in house baked bread (the spelt is the best I have ever had), to after dinner fresh herbs teas, candies etc.
Worth every penny.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to enjoy the only two Michelin stars in Capri during dinner and breakfast and I was not disappointed at all, having experienced many other Michelin stars before I knew that L’Olivo will provide us with a gastronomic experience rather than focusing only on food. During dinner, the sommelier recommended amazing wine choices, the restaurant director Luigi and Guiseppe Zuottolo, were paying attention to all details as well as Luca the food and beverage manager. I never felt overwhelmed with their presence since they were very discrete at all times. Also They reserved an amazing table with a beautiful view of the mountains to die for (a big shout out to the hostess and waitress) I strongly recommend the avocado toast, eggs Benedict, and the cappuccinos with almond milk in case you are lactose intolerant like myself for breakfast and for dinner tagliolini al Linome and any recommendations from the staff.
