Non ci sono altri clienti . Su una grande lavagna è scritto il menu: Piatti della tradizione piemontese con I relativi prezzi che rientrano nella media generale. Tiriamo un sospiro di sollievo mentre ci accoglie una delle titolari,in modo cordiale e informale. ordiniamo tomini al miele e noci come antipasto e due primi: agnolotti al sugo di arrosto e gnocchetti al Castelmagno. Servizio veloce senza tanti fronzoli e cucina casalinga con porzioni adeguate. Mi concedo un bunet a fine pasto, caffè e a mia moglie viene suggerita una tisana limone zenzero.Il conto è nella norma considerando anche il coperto 2 euro e un quartino di ottimo freisa: 45 euro totali. Non andate via senza chiedere le chiavi della Pieve di S.Lorenzo accanto al cimitero, raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. Spettacolare esempio di architettura romanica, da non perdere. There are no other customers. The menu is written on a large blackboard: Traditional Piedmontese dishes with the relative prices that fall within the general average. We breathe a sigh of relief as one of the owners welcomes us in a friendly and informal way. we order tomini with honey and walnuts as an appetizer and two first courses: agnolotti with roast sauce and gnocchetti with Castelmagno. Fast service with no frills and home cooking with adequate portions. I allow myself a bunet at the end of the meal, coffee and my wife is suggested a lemon ginger herbal tea. The bill is normal considering also the 2 euro cover charge and a quart of excellent freisa: 45 euro total. Do not leave without asking for the keys to the Pieve di San Lorenzo next to the cemetery, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Spectacular example of Romanesque architecture, not to be missed.

Ho pranzato il lunedì dopo la domenica delle Palme e poi ne ho approfittato per andare a vedere la bella chiesetta romanica nel cimitero di Montiglio. Ho gustato dei peperoni in bagna cauda e del tenerone con patate arrosto, per concludere creme caramel e caffè oltre ad un quartino di vino ed acqua. Prezzo adeguato e porzioni perfette Nice restaurant with a good choice of Piedmontese dishes, friendly staff. I had lunch on the Monday after Palm Sunday and then I took the opportunity to go and see the beautiful Romanesque church in the Montiglio cemetery. I tasted the peppers in bagna cauda and the tenerone with roast potatoes, to finish with cream caramel and coffee as well as a quart of wine and water. Appropriate price and perfect portions
