★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve tried a few trattorias and restaurants in Catania and it’s safe to say this is the absolute best seafood pasta (spaghetti ai frutti di mare) I’ve had so far, though I would only rate the spaghetti alle vongole veraci average. The mussels and clams sauté starter was amazing as well. Side note, EXTREMELY good service by every waiter and waitress, very satisfied with the experience both times I was there. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 7 star place!!!! The appetizer Caldi e freddi was amazing, super fresh product, a little bit of many tartares, capaccios, fried fish, mussels. We order also a couple of pastas that were great too, but it was a little bit too much food (for two). The appetizers is the star.

We order the octopus with pop corn and was so great, totally a must! Also the tuna carpaccio, te spaghetti al frutti di mare and the rigatoni with octopus. High relationship price-quality
Also the girl working there was very very nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average food. We had grilled fish and their „specialty“ sword fish balls. Nothing special and not particularly good fish. (PS: Read the comment of the restaurant - Even they admit that the grilled food in their place is nothing special) Moreover, there was no white wine available anymore. They said “sorry, it is Sunday evening and people were thirsty for lunch”. I would not return to this place. There are many better options in Catania not far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, I would. L'Iska is for sure one of the best places I've ever been to. The atmosphere is great, the staff is nice and professional and the food is simply amazing, with Polp Corn being one of my favourite dishes ever - creative, and yet simple, pure perfection! If I ever come back to Catania, it would be, first and foremost because of that dish!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is located in the midst of the fish market. It is trendy, highly visited and pleasant. We ate seafood which was nicely done. Not spectacularly but good enough. The seafood salad was very well prepared and superbly seasoned. The meat was a bit chewy and with crunchy bits of carrots and celery. The seafood plate with fish was good.
