★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, wonderful views over La Morra. Better still, wonderful food. Inventive use of ingredients, the Suckling Pig dish melted in the mouth. The Rabbit dish had a jus of tomatoes with it, and fresh basil. Great wine list too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb piedmontese cuisine, revisited in modern terms. We didn't plan to have dinner here, but once tried this exquisite restaurant I will surely come back. Whatever you expect, you won't be disappointed. Also, a beautiful vista in the vineyards surrounding Castiglione Falletto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful setting and incredible food. Simple but elegant dishes and really friendly staff! We told them we only had an hour before heading to the airport and they made sure we had an amazing meal but still got away on time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't have any problems to pay a high price for good food. The food of the restaurant is definitely good. But at the end I don't want to leave the restaurant hungry. The portions are small.
The next point of criticism is the behaviour of the waiter. Firstly, you should welcome your guests if you see them. Secondly, if you are cold, you should have the possibility to sit inside. Or at least, they have to tell you that you should wear warm clothes since you can only sit outside. Since that waiter was very unlikeable, I talked to the waitress, so that's we could sit inside after an hour of freezing.
In a nutshell: Considering the creative food and the high prices for the meals you can see that L'Argaj tries to be a fine-dining restaurant, but the service is absolutely insufficient. Visited September 2020.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Food! It is traditional but with a little touch of innovation and complexity. If the interior would be a little classier, with tablecloth, or at least better looking woodentables, the restaurant would make you feel like you are eating at a gourmet place. Fair prices!
