★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happened to pass this place. Saw the menu that has seen better days (that's a good sign) and the lovely granny coming out from the kitchen. Food and service is excellent in all levels. Really worth checking this place out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Pasta. We tried the truffles with mushrooms and the Pepe one (cheese with black peppers). We also bought some truffles from there. They are so friendly, prices are OK. The place is a bit small but very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and somewhat hidden from the well-beaten path of tourists, myself included, from the Pantheon, just 100 meters or so. 5-6 small tables in rear of the Alimentaria (grocery store) but it’s dishes are genuine, local and outstanding. Dining room is small with wooden timbers and raw brick, but tastefully decorated.
Tried the Lasagna w baccalá and Buffalo mozzarella and it was the best I had in over 2 weeks in Italy.
Having travelled to, and lived in Rome for several years back in 00s, I wasn’t expecting to be impressed but I was.
Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can honestly say the best pasta I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. The owners were veeeery friendly and the place is super beautifully decorated. They even had a jazz band playing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and a friend were walking around looking for a cool place to eat on our last week in Roma and we stumbled upon this little gem. It was such a cute restaurant, the ambience was so warm and the staff were so nice. We didn't have a reservation, we didn't know, but I recommend you make one just to be more prepared. I am not sure the name of the plate I ordered but it was pasta with lemon, cheese and red pepper and it was so fresh and so good! I had a glass of really good white wine, and we ended with Tiramisu. It was such a nice experience and food was so good :) Will be back some day!!!
