★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se riuscite a prenotare per tempo (impresa non facile...sono sempre pienissimi), conviene non perdere l'occasione di partecipare a un vero e proprio safari del mare,in cui con un po'di fortuna si riescono ad osservare nella stessa giornata magari diverse specie di delfini nuotare e giocare attorno al bel catamarano della Jonian Dolphin.
Noi siamo stati fortunati...decine di delfini ci hanno accompagnato,in una giornata perfetta. Lo staff della Jonian è attento e preparato. Ci hanno spiegato passo passo ogni obiettivo della giornata,e non è mancato un momento dedicato ai bambini. Vale assolutamente il prezzo del biglietto. Fenomenale.
 If you manage to book early (not an easy task ... they are always very full), it is better not to miss the opportunity to participate in a real sea safari, in which with a little luck you can observe them on the same day maybe different species of dolphins swimming and playing around the beautiful catamaran of the Jonian Dolphin.
We were lucky ... dozens of dolphins accompanied us on a perfect day. Jonian's staff is attentive and knowledgeable. They explained each goal of the day step by step, and there was also a moment dedicated to children. Absolutely worth the ticket price. Phenomenal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una delle piú belle esperienze di viaggio e conoscenza del meraviglioso mondo dei mammiferi marini che si possa fare in Puglia e in Italia. Uno straordinario team di biologi appassionati di mare, di natura e della loro terra. Indimenticabile e da ripetere. Taranto è una città da scoprire e questa può essere una bellissima occasione per farlo.
One of the most beautiful travel experiences and knowledge of the wonderful world of marine mammals that can be done in Puglia and in Italy. An extraordinary team of biologists passionate about the sea, nature and their land. Unforgettable and to be repeated. Taranto is a city to discover and this can be a wonderful opportunity to do so.

Io, completamente, ignara di questo mondo a me sconosciuto.
Vi sono progetti interessanti per la conservazione dei cetacei; realizzano progetti che coinvolgono anche il turista e lo rendono partecipe in prima persona per la salvaguardia dell’ecosistema. Ti senti davvero parte del progetto che unisce alla perfezione mare e città e capisci che sopratutto il singolo individuo può fare la differenza.
Per di più ho sperimentato la realtà virtuale(oculus) e mi sono ritrovata immersa in pieno oceano , dalla barriera corallina agli abissi più profondi.
CONSIGLIATISSIMA!!! non vedo l’ora di ritornare per provare l’esperienza in catamarano.
Un grazie infinito a tutto lo staff che è stato disponibile e gentile e vi evince la competenza e la passione che hanno.

I, completely, unaware of this world unknown to me.
There are interesting projects for the conservation of cetaceans; they carry out projects that also involve tourists and make them personally involved in safeguarding the ecosystem. You really feel part of the project that perfectly combines the sea and the city and you understand that above all the single individual can make the difference.
Furthermore, I experimented with virtual reality (oculus) and found myself immersed in the open ocean, from the coral reef to the deepest abysses.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! I can't wait to go back to try the catamaran experience.
An infinite thanks to all the staff who were helpful and kind and show you the competence and passion they have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took a day tour on one of the catamerans of the Jonian Dolphin Conservation. The idea is that visitors and tourists support the scientific research of the conservation while enjoying a day at sea. We had a really nice team, very open, knowledable and welcoming. Due to the sickness of one guest on board we had to return early to port but they offered to make a new tour on their invitation or refund of our money!
A very nice form of tourism where you know that you support the protection of the marine habitat while spending a perfect day at sea!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This excursion was definitely a highlight of our trip to Italy. It was well organized and highly informative. Being able to observe these dolfins in their natural habitat was like nothing I had ever experienced. The well being of these animals is of paramount importance to the staff and crew. When we would come upon a family of dolfins they would shut off the catamaran's engine and ask us to speak quietly so as to not agitate the animals. It was an amazing opportunity and one that I would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A day that we will always remember and changed our perspective forever.
We spent the day with the association on their boat with our 3 daughters (the youngest is 4), and it was amazing.
We could see more dolphins that we could dream of (stripped and buttlenose dolphins), playing and jumping in front of our boat.
The association members are passionate and do everything to transmit their love for cetaces' and explain how to protect them. The dolphins were never attracted by food or tracked down.
If they seem shy, we just stopped following them but the stripped ones were amazingly curious.
Even though everyone else spoke English, Juli was kind enough to translate everything for us, which made the tour as educational as it was impressive.
Just remember that you need to bring your lunch (drinks are provided for) and sunscreen. No need for swimming equipment since it is no allowed to swim with the dolphins.
