L'edificio dove ha sede l'istituto è interessante cosiccome la storia dell'istituto stesso
Mi limito a 4 stelle perché c'è una leggera commistione fra la bellezza dell'edificio e delle opere del Museo e l'operato passato e attuale dell'Istituto a favore dell'infanzia
A mio parere sarebbe stato opportuno spiegare bene cosa ha fatto e cosa sta facendo l'Istituto degli Innocenti OPPURE mostrare i capolavori del Ghirlandaio e del Della Robbia
Personalmente avrei gradito saperne di più - molto di più - su come è nato e come ha operato l'Istituto, quali sono e sono stati i suoi metodi... insomma saperne di più
Comunque la visita al Museo e all'edificio è stata ampiamente soddisfacente

The Istituto degli Innocenti is beautiful and a visit to the Museum is advisable
The building where the institute is based is interesting as well as the history of the institute itself
I limit myself to 4 stars because there is a slight mix between the beauty of the building and the works of the Museum and the past and current work of the Institute in favor of children
In my opinion it would have been appropriate to explain well what the Istituto degli Innocenti has done and what it is doing OR show the masterpieces of Ghirlandaio and Della Robbia
Personally I would have liked to know more - much more - about how the Institute was born and how it operated, what its methods are and have been ... in short, learn more
However, the visit to the Museum and the building was largely satisfactory

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ha sede nello Spedale degli Innocenti, ovvero il primo brefotrofio della storia europea. È un capolavoro di compostezza rinascimentale firmato da Filippo Brunelleschi. Un modo suggestivo per ammirarlo in queste sere del periodo natalizio è con i suggestivi giochi di luci e musica proiettati da piazza della Santissima Annunziata, un vero spettacolo.
It is based in the Spedale degli Innocenti, which is the first orphanage in European history. It is a masterpiece of Renaissance composure signed by Filippo Brunelleschi. A suggestive way to admire it in these evenings of the Christmas period is with the suggestive plays of lights and music projected from Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, a real show.
