Per quanto riguarda i traghetti, Elio traghetto di ultima generazione è bello pulito e ben organizzato. Gli altri lasciano a desiderare. The cost is exaggeratedly high, 39 euros each way. I at least 2 times a month I use it, and it is shameful that we islanders do not benefit from any relief! As for the ferries, Elio latest generation ferry is nice clean and well organized. The others let it down.

Arriviamo il 23.12.2021 alle 18.30 a villa San Giovanni : confusione assurda per imbarcare, avendo il telepass uno pensa di far più veloce invece niente ci siamo messi in fila ma facendo fatica a seguire le indicazioni (hanno tutt altro che funzione da segnaletica!). Saliamo a bordo annunciano obbligo controllo green pass :Domanda dov era il personale a controllare?? Non era più semplice effettuare questo controllo insieme al biglietto? Invece no. Una vergogna per 30 minuti di traghetto AR 78euro. Non avete concorrenza e il sistema vi autorizza a fare come volete dando un servizio da 0. (anche il bar all interno mal gestito). Bad organization! Punti a favore: operatori all’imbarco molto molto gentili e professionali, traghetto veloce sia nella traversata che nell’imbarco/sbarco. Punti a sfavore: imbarco mal segnalato e difficile da raggiungere, acquistare il biglietto online non serve perché comunque si passa per la biglietteria. Failing to make a "normal" review, I divide it by pros and cons in the hope of being as clear and concise as possible. Plus points: very friendly and professional boarding operators, fast ferry both in the crossing and in boarding / disembarking. Negative points: boarding badly marked and difficult to reach, buying the ticket online is not necessary because you go through the ticket office anyway.
