★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se volete vivere l’esperienza del vecchio forno siciliano, non potete non provare le leccornie del Vecchio forno Marchisiello. Dal momento in cui attraversate le tende verrete catapultati in un forno del passato, a conduzione familiare, dove la tradizione la fa da padrone. Il banco è pieno di pani diversi, pitoni ed arancini. E proprio su questi ultimi voglio soffermarmi. Gli arancini sono ottimi. Ho provato quelli al burro e prosciutto con un tocco di besciamella (che non guasta mai) e quelli tradizionali al ragù. La qualità è eccelsa, infatti sin dal primo sguardo puoi notare che l’arancino è dorato, colore tipico di una frittura amorevole e di buona qualità. Si può affermare, senza dubbio, che la ragazza dietro al bancone è la Regina dell’arancino.

And I want to focus on the latter. The arancini are excellent. I tried the ones with butter and ham with a touch of bechamel (which never hurts) and the traditional ones with meat sauce. The quality is excellent, in fact from the first glance you can see that the arancino is golden, a typical color of a loving and good quality frying. It can be said, without a doubt, that the girl behind the counter is the Queen of the arancino.

Commesse cordiali e accoglienti. Hanno di tutto dal pane alla pizza focacce e dolci. Molto buono in questo periodo sono da provare le chiacchiere.
