T	Tom Schram on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice canteen style restaurant in the hotel resort area (likely also open to others). Simple but very nice quality Tuscan food. Some waiters are more friendly than others but overall it is fine.

We went there on Tuesday with a family of four and even though there were only 3 Tables full (of about 12 that we were seeing outside), they just told us they are full for today. So much about Italian hospitality and friendliness.

Almost half way through I enquired what had happened to our drinks, came back running with them, apparently been standing there as the ice had already almost melted. Thought the second night might go better, booked an outside area, until a loud crowd of drunk people arrived and was seated next to us, managed didn't do a thing to get them quiet and we and other patrons moved inside. Pizza and pasta was good, service not so much. So two stars for food, none on the service.
D	Dario Ferrarotti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a restaurant for the hotel and golf court nearby. We stopped on route to Volterra but it was a mistake. Overpriced with very low food quality for the money. They should avoid to cater to passers by or, at least, lower their prices.

We ate here regularly when we spent a week in Castelfalfi in 2016, and the food then was outstanding. Our visit here in 2021 disappointed as the food and service was not to the level we had previously experienced, hence the rating.

They’re staying at the hotel around the corner and the restaurant was great. The prices are reasonable and the food was exceptional. We had gnocchi, pizza, caprese salad and octopus, everything was great. Probably the better pizza we’ve had during our travels. They make their own wine which was also very enjoyable. Giusi was a great waitress. Very social and shared some great insight into some areas to visit. Would definitely stop back here if we are travelling through this area again.
