I stayed at Il Pezzatino with my family in June 2019. This was after first staying at Il Pezzatino in July 2014 with three close friends. Il Pezzatino is a fantastic farm house to relax and enjoy life in Tuscany. Just a short drive away from Florence, it is a perfect place to unwind from sight seeing, escape from other tourists, and completely relax. The farm has lots to enjoy from a swimming pool, olive trees and grape vines to walk through, outdoor seating to watch the sunset with a nice bottle of wine. The owner of the agrotourismo is incredibly welcoming (and a big reason I came back with my family). I would highly recommend the wine tasting with the wines she makes on the property. Il Pezzatino was the highlight of my family's trip!

The room and surrounding is as beautiful as described in the pictures. When you arrive two white metal gates open for you, and you have to drive a small way up a little hillside to the guest house. For parking your car enough space is available. The room was beautiful and clean. Everything is there what you need (no kitchen - but Alessandra offers you to make you breakfast and dinner) and the room was well climated without the need to use the climate. A minibar provides you quick access to water, lemonades and some bottles of their own vine (i really enjoyed - but everyone has different tastes). We took the breakfast and dinner several times. Both had been delicious, whereas the latter was served with different courses. The pool outside is just wonderful placed, looking and very clean (through daily water checks and cleanings early in the morning). The sunbeds at the pool are comfortable and can be placed in the sun and shadow. The most amazing time we had was after dinner on the vineyards behind the guest house at the hillside. You have an amazing view and need to expecrience it yourself. We really enjoyed the trip to our tuskany nest and would recommend it highly. Thank you and all the best to you and your sweet dog Willy Jonathan & Anna

Incredible farmhouse in the Tuscan hills. We stayed here for 5 days and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to relax and leisurely explore the local area with its incredible scenery, wine and food. The rooms and pool area are fantastic and there are some amazing restaurants nearby filled with locals. Florence is also only a 35 minute drive or 40 minute train away.

From the moment we met Alessandra at the train station to the moment we said farewell, my daughter and I felt like we were welcome and cared for. The dinner Alessandra prepared for us was delicious and the wine she paired (Hinthial rose) was delicious. Relaxing days poolside, strolls through the vineyard and visits from the farms 4-legged ambassador, Willy made this a perfect relaxing get away. And the cooking class Alessandra taught was delicious and such fun! We can’t wait to come back!

We sort of stumbled upon Il Pezzatino while looking for a Tuscan farmhouse that would host a symbolic wedding for my brother and sister-in-law. Alessandra planned the entire wedding on her property including the handmade 3 course meal, using flowers and ingredients from her farm. The farm is beautiful and the perfect location to visit Firenze (Florence). Alessandra herself is the sweetest host who welcomes you into both her home and her family. Since then, I have been back to visit "Aunt" Alessandra numerous times, always toting along other family members. I really consider her (and Willy the dog) to be family and her home to be my second home. She's offered to teach her delicious cooking and she'd offered to kindly pick up/drop off at the train station should we need. Her olive oil and wine is the very best, and now she ships her products to me (and my entire family and all my co-workers) in the states. Her farm is close enough to visit the hustle and bustle of Firenze, but itself is a beautiful and quiet escape (the pool overlooking the rolling hills is to die for). Always the most welcoming and relaxing part of our trips back to Europe, but Alessandra herself is the real gem. And while I want to keep her all to myself, you won't regret finding Il Pezzatino to be your home away from home, too.

Having never stayed at an agriturismo we imagined something like a b&b but Alessandra went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. Her hospitality is so generous and kind with helpful tips about the local area and Firenze (Florence). The meal that she prepared, served, and explained to us was our favorite of our entire honeymoon in Italy. The room had amazing views of the Tuscan countryside that was stunning to wake up to. We did a wine and olive oil tasting of their farm's production and it was the perfect amount of information and tasty wine—highly recommend. Overall, could not more emphatically recommend Alessandra's place. Their dog Willie was icing on the cake!

Beautiful accommodations! From walking the grounds through the vineyard and the olive grove to the comfortable seating area under the latticework. pool. Miss Alessandra is a wonderful hostess with unrivaled skills in the kitchen.Their wines are their own and pair well with the homemade dinner. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only stop I need in Italy.

During retrieving photos of toscana trip last year, I have felt in reminiscences of this place. I stayed in Il Pezzatino last year May. When leaving the house, I promised the hostess Alessandra that I will definitely write a review as I was so satisfied all things of the agriturismo. I'm now leaving this message long time passed though. Alessandra was so sweet, she gave us rides, pick-up and drop-off from/to station. At that time, we were not able to drive, it was impossible for us to experience Italian agriturismo without Alessandra's kindness. Also, I cannot forget the big and kind dog Willy. Willy guided us winery and olive yard spread behind the house like our shepherd when we just arrived at the house. It was so friendly and energitic, we had fun together. The room was so cozy and clean, having a window through which we can enjoy wide and green landscape of Tuscany field. Tuscany cuisine in dinner time was excellent, we and other canadian guests whom we met first time there had pleasant talk over home-made ravioli, orange chicken, fried zucchinis, tiramisu and bottles of docg wine produced in the farm. We thank Alessandra for the great memories and pray that she and families stay safe and healthy during the hard times of covid-19. Hope to see you again in my next trip to Italy.
