★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This neighborhood gem was so kind to a non-Italian speaker. It was just was I needed after a long walk through unknown areas of the city: a custom panini and grande bierre. Delicioso I'm forever thankful for the generous treatment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you find yourself in this area, I highly recommend stopping in here. The sandwiches are already haunting me.... they slice the meat right in front of you, with a professional grade deli slicer. And they toast their fresh focaccia on the spot, so you can see steam rising when they cut it in half to make your sandwich. All of them are just 6 euro, and they're quite large. I had the number 10, which is bresaola (cured beef) with arugula and shaved Parmesan. I liked it so much, I got another one the next day. I also tried the number 11, which is Spanish salami, cheese that I forget the name of, and a mushroom Mayo sauce. Also delicious. To boot, the people are so, so nice. They have an English menu, and they have a few English words but not many, but they were very patient regarding the language barrier.
