★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely little place off the beaten path. We stopped in for dinner before our concert. Not big on the dinnerware but the food is unbelievable coupled with decent prices. 3 of us full with food and coffees totaled less that $40 euros. Very decent. I would go there again of I am in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a real hidden gem in Tuscany! We arrived here by accident and we're so lucky we did. The dinner was delicious (so was the wine) and very good priced, the service was outstanding. We came here with our 3y old girl and 9 month old baby, and the hosts were so incredibly sweet to them, all in a familiar way and not pushy at all. Thank you!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely restaurant with the possibility to dine outside if the weather permits. We sat on the small piazette in front which was superromantic, one of the nicest seats we ever had. The staff is very attentive and thoughtful, highly recommended!

I’ve been here twice before over the last few years and it was always great, but now under new management it is really something new and no other place like it in the area. They’ve expanded with new art and exhibitions within two new external dining rooms and outdoor seating in warmer weather. The dishes were executed and presented beautifully. Tuscan cuisine but elevated to a new level. The chef and his partner were humble gracious and with great conversation and explanations and ensuring we were satisfied. Grazie infinite for one of the best dinners we’ve had!

Lasagne was dry and seemed like it was reheated badly, tortelloni dish with cod was creative but didn't have a clear flavour texture. Wine and home made olive oil was very good though and the beef with rosemary and potatoes also very tasty and to the point.
Decent quality for the most part although value for money is just ok-ish. Overall it seems like there is the attempt to move towards fine dining, but it still needs some refinement and focus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are vegan and asked in advance for some vegan options. We were so impressed with what they presented. Everything was delicious. We especially loved the potato croquettes. If you are vegan or vegetarian and in Lajatico I would start here as options are not obvious in the area. The location is completely magical and the communication was above and beyond. Highly recommended.
