Un po' bruciata sul fondo. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono I appreciated the kindness and availability. We got there at half past 10 and they let us have dinner. The pizza wasn't great. A little burnt on the bottom. Good value for money

I piatti non sono solo belli, ma soprattutto buoni; Simone accosta i sapori dei vari ptodotti con una semplicità disarmante e i risultati sono ottimi. Consigliatissimo! What about this place except that it is simply exceptional! The dishes are not only beautiful, but above all good; Simone combines the flavors of the various ptoducts with a disarming simplicity and the results are excellent. Highly recommended!

All'esterno un bel giardino molto verde e riservato. All'interno sembra quasi uno chalet. Ottima pizza e per il pesce ogni sera propongono pochi piatti ma deliziosi. Prezzo buono Located in a very particular context for a restaurant. It seems to be in the garden of the building that houses it. Outside, a beautiful, very green and reserved garden. Inside it looks like a chalet. Excellent pizza and for the fish every night they offer a few dishes but delicious. Good price

Proprio non capisco alcune recensioni volte soltanto a denigrare il fantastico lavoro svolto da Simone e famiglia. Sinceramente dubito che abbiano mai veramente mangiato al Gazebo Qualità degli ingredienti, cortesia, accoglienza, professionalità: non manca davvero niente. Aggiungeteci una location tranquilla e ben curata, et voilà! Simone, poi, si fa voler bene da tutti! Consigliato! Simply the best pizza in the area - and I'm not exaggerating. I just don't understand some reviews aimed only at disparaging the fantastic work done by Simone and family. I honestly doubt they ever actually ate at the Gazebo Quality of ingredients, courtesy, hospitality, professionalism: nothing is really missing. Add a quiet and well-kept location, et voilà! Simone, then, makes everyone love him! Recommended!

Part of that has to do with the quality of food in Calabria in general, and also the amazing red onions they have in the general Tropea area. The pizzas at this pizzeria are amazingly delicious, and given that it was located in the backyard of the apartment where I was living, it was very convenient for me to go a total of 5 times (maybe 6, but who's counting) while I lived there for 3 weeks. Now, if the food hadn't have been good I wouldn't have gone. However, I would highly recommend not ordering their seafood dishes. I had one the first night and almost decided not to go back to try the pizza. The mussles, even though the waitress assured me otherwise, did not taste fresh - they were mushy and had almost a strange taste. They got my order wrong too, as I had ordered linguine, and brought me spaghetti instead. The price however was very fair - absolutely incredible for Italy. Only 8 Euro for the dish. The pizzas are likewise very reasonable in price, anywhere between 4 - 8 Euro per pie. The desserts were not prepared on site, but rather, store bought (at least what I ordered). The place is very charming and hidden away. I loved the outside seating area, and the smells are intoxicating. Definitely not a village you will probably be visitng any time soon, but if you have the opportunity to get there by car, it's worth the trek just to have the experience of dining in the small, hidden away place that it is. Tell them the American girl who lived there sent you. ;)
