A	Alessia Capra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto perfetto anche se fuori stagione... Siamo ai primi di Marzo. Ma con il cielo limpido e il sole, si vede tutto il Lago Maggiore e non solo. Consigliatissimo. Perfect place even if out of season ... We are in early March. But with the clear sky and the sun, you can see all of Lake Maggiore and beyond. Highly recommended.
O	Olivier Lougovoy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le restaurant situé en haut de ce funiculaire est un attrape touriste. Il profite de sa situation, sans concurrence pour pratiquer des prix exorbitants. Nous avons voulu commandé un burger végétarien avec des frites. Après une très longue attente on nous a servi une sorte de petite galette se pois chiches passée a la friture, avec quelques frites congelées, 2 feuilles de salades sans asaisonnement, le tout pour 15 euros. Nous avons demandé des explications quant à ce plat et le "burger" que nous pensions manger. On nous dit que c'est ça le burger végétarien (donc juste une pauvre petite galette sans pain, ni légumes, ni sauce...) Puis on nous agresse et on nous demande de partir en disant que si on voulait on pouvait aller chez Mc Donald. Il n'y a aucun rapport ! Nous les avons obligé à nous rembourser après avoir dû hausser le ton. Ce sont des voleurs bêtes et méchants. The restaurant located at the top of this funicular is a tourist trap. He takes advantage of his situation, without competition to practice exorbitant prices. We wanted to order a veggie burger with fries. After a very long wait we were served a kind of small pancake get chickpeas spent in the frying, with some frozen fries, 2 salad leaves without seasoning, all for 15 euros. We asked for explanations about this dish and the "burger" that we thought we were eating. We are told that this is the vegetarian burger (so just a poor little cake without bread, vegetables, sauce ...) Then we are attacked and asked to leave saying that if we wanted we could go to Mc Donald's. There is no report! We forced them to pay us back after having to raise their tone. They are stupid and mean robbers.

Non consiglio assolutamente la sosta per bere qualcosa ma solo per fare 2 foto panoramiche. La cosa bella è che il proprietario se la sente manco fosse un bar stellato in cima al monte Bianco . The bar at the top is bad .. rude and rude owner .. high prices and poor service. I absolutely do not recommend the stop for a drink but only to take 2 panoramic photos. The nice thing is that the owner doesn't even feel it was a starred bar at the top of Mont Blanc.
C	Castore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partiti da Laveno in cestovia, dopo circa 10 minuti, si raggiunge la cima del Sasso del Ferro dove, a pochi metri, si trova il ristorante che possiede una strepitosa terrazza panoramica sulla porzione del lago Maggiore che si trova di fronte alle isole Borromee ed al monte Mottarone. Il menù offre varietà di lago e di terra sia per i primi che per i secondi, con una lista abbastanza soddisfacente. I prezzi si trovano nella fascia medio-alta, (soprattutto il coperto), ma la vista panoramica, la disponibilità del personale, compensano. Dessert molto buoni. Si può godere del Sole e della visuale sottostante mentre si pranza, con porzioni, a mio dire, sufficientemente abbondanti. Vale la pena prendere la cestovia-bidonvia al costo A/R di €10 e fermarsi a mangiare dopo una breve escursione sulla vera cima panoramica del monte Sasso del Ferro, che dista da qui circa una decina di minuti. In una giornata infrasettimanale ho trovato comunque molta gente, quindi conviene prenotare con alticipo. Bella esperienza e bella giornata. Starting from Laveno in the basket, after about 10 minutes, you reach the top of the Sasso del Ferro where, a few meters away, there is the restaurant which has an amazing panoramic terrace on the portion of Lake Maggiore which is located in front of the Borromean islands and the mount Mottarone. The menu offers lake and land varieties for both the first and second courses, with a fairly satisfactory list. The prices are in the medium-high range, (especially the indoor), but the panoramic view, the helpfulness of the staff, make up for it. Very good desserts. You can enjoy the sun and the view below while having lunch, with portions, in my opinion, sufficiently abundant. It is worth taking the cestovia-bidonvia at the cost of € 10 round trip and stopping to eat after a short excursion on the real panoramic peak of Mount Sasso del Ferro, which is about ten minutes from here. On a midweek day, however, I found many people, so it is better to book early. Nice experience and nice day.
I	Iam Cris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vista spettacolare sottintesa, ho trovato i prezzi onesti e lo spritz funivia ottimo. Anche il mio ragazzo ha apprezzato il maxi toast e l'aperol spritz. Spectacular view implied, I found the prices fair and the spritz cable car excellent. My boyfriend also enjoyed the maxi toast and the aperol spritz.

B	Benoit Gevry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a place you go for the quality of food or the variety of drinks. You go there to enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Maggiore. You are probably on one of the highest peak overlooking the lake. If you go there on a sunny day like we did, with no clouds, you can see all the way to Switzerland. We also got to see some people doing deltaplane. You can either walk all the way up, which could take several hours or you can use the funicular that looks like a garbage can... literally! If you’re not afraid of heights, do not miss this opportunity.
