★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I proprietari sono gentilissimi, direi speciali: il giorno in cui siamo arrivati si sono preoccupati di farci trovare un cesto con le prime necessità nel caso in cui fossimo stanchi e volessimo restare in casa. Il posto è comodissimo, esci di casa e sei in piazza duomo. Vogliamo parlare dell'appartamento? Ampio, nuovissimo e arredato con gusto, piacevole e accogliente, con tutti i confort: divano, aria condizionata e TV in tutte le stanze, lavatrice, frigorifero, macchina per il caffè espresso in cialde e tanto altro. Consigliatissimo.
The owners are very kind, I would say special: the day we arrived they took care to let us find a basket with the first necessities in case we were tired and wanted to stay at home. The place is very comfortable, you leave the house and you are in piazza duomo. Do we want to talk about the apartment? Spacious, brand new and tastefully furnished, pleasant and welcoming, with all comforts: sofa, air conditioning and TV in all rooms, washing machine, refrigerator, espresso pod machine and much more. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una stella perché Catania ha sicuramente un centro storico che potrebbe competere con tante città d’arte. Peccato che il tempo sembra essersi fermato al dopoguerra. Edifici storici diroccati e sporco dappertutto. Siamo nel 2022 ma qua nulla cambia.
A star because Catania certainly has a historic center that could compete with many cities of art. Too bad that time seems to have stopped after the war. Crumbling and dirty historic buildings everywhere. We are in 2022 but nothing changes here.

Sono caratteristiche e luogo di movida. Dai pub, birrerie, trattorie caratteristiche e locali vari, si trova sempre qualcosa da visitare e apprezzare.
Spesso girovagando si possono incontrare gruppi di turisti stranieri sbarcati dalle varie navi crocieristiche approdate nel vicino porto.
Consiglio di visitare la pescheria " mercato del pesce" in zona piazza Duomo e la fiera "o luni" un bellissimo e caratteristico mercato all'aperto che si trova adiacente a piazza Stesicoro.

They are characteristics and place of nightlife. From pubs, breweries, characteristic trattorias and various clubs, there is always something to visit and appreciate.
Often wandering around you can meet groups of foreign tourists disembarked from the various cruise ships that landed in the nearby port.
I recommend visiting the fish market "Mercato del Pesce" in the Piazza Duomo area and the "o luni" fair, a beautiful and characteristic open-air market located adjacent to Piazza Stesicoro.
