I had the special of the day, a particular bean soup (not commonly grown), my friends had the mixed meat / cheese plates that were exquisitely made, and a glass of red wine, per the waiter's recommendation. you can also get great coffee and the bread basket was worth it! highly recommend, good value, authentic.

β β β β β Wonderful restaurant and market Assisi. The owner is very outgoing and helpful with dining decisions. His recommendation of Wild Boar paired with his selection of red wine was spot on. There is even a live video feed of central Assisi displayed on one wall of the dining room.

β β β β β We stopped here for lunch. We were accepted very nice and approached immediately with lady who explained the whole menu for us and served us wine. They recommended us a few things and we went with it. The lunch was amazing! Very nice staff and pasta was really good. The thing that surprised me the most was parmigiana. Since I was never a fan of it, we decided to try this one. I loved it! Great place with very friendly staff who will take care of you. I recommend, 10/10!!!!

β β β β β Great food and unbelievable service. You will feel the wait staff's pride in their country, area and food. Everything was so lovingly prepared you feel like you are an honored family guest at their kitchen table. If you have any dietary requirements they understand it all... celiac, vegan, vegetarian. You can't go wrong eating here.
