A surprise! The Ikigai is a real gem in the center of Castellammare, friendly and precise service (Always ready to explain the menu ..) the food is excellent, the environment is relaxed and peaceful, the price is fair. I recommend a visit (possibly No children ..).

Excellent evening spent in this place. You can choose between the all you can eat and à la carte formula. For all you can eat there are several rules to be respected such as not wasting food otherwise there is an additional cost or you can ask for a finite number to bring at a time. Rules yes but it is also right for me that there are. Quality of food more than acceptable and nice staff.

Il locale si trova sul corso principale di Castellammare, c’è il parcheggio lungo la strada. Locale molto carino , personale gentilissimo , all you can eat di alto livello ( e ne ho provati moltissimi fidatevi) , formula 30€ compreso bevante è 3 dolcini a testa. Il menù varia molto , uramaki di tantissimi tipi, mio preferito quello con le fragole ? Ci ritornerò Unica pecca si sentiva una puzza strana credo provenisse dal bagno
The restaurant is located on the main street of Castellammare, there is parking along the road. Very nice place, very kind staff, high level all you can eat (and I have tried many, trust me), formula 30 € including drink and 3 sweets each. The menu varies a lot, many types of uramaki, my favorite the one with strawberries ? I'll be back The only flaw was a strange smell I think it came from the bathroom

Good service and good food. If you have time (1.5h - 2h) I would recommend getting the "All you can eat" menu.

Good sushi, bud very, very bad service and long waiting times. In the end the kitchen closed leaving us hungry. We came 21:20 and we were told 22:50 that the kitchen closes. That is unacceptable and the restaurant lies in it’s answer in order to defend itself.

Visited Ikigai many times with friends and family in the last 3 years and this has been my favorite place since the first dinner. This review is based on my most recent visit which was as good as the others. Atmosphere is amazing: nicely decorated restaurant, comfortable chairs, good lighting, pleasure for eyes. Complementary prosecco just to start with. The wine list then it's international (Chilean, Australian and of course Italian) but my must have drink it's sake, served warm. I usually go through 2 bottles just for myself :) The food then it's just short of amazing: Sushi, Nigiri, Grilled scallops, Wagyu beef tartare and more...but the Ramen cooked daily (I suggest to call and book it as they do just a few portions per day) it's DIVINE. I have an international knowledge of sushi but the one we had at Ikigai it's second to none. I was initially put off by the Brazilian chef, however the fusion combination it's EXCEPTIONAL! Apparently the chef graduated/lived in Japan...and the Ramen it's certainly a testament to that. When my kids come from Australia to visit us they need to pay multiple visits as they reckon this is the best sushi place they ever had even down-under. The bill might look pricey but it's to be expected when fine dining a la cart, even though I understand they have an "all you can eat" formula that I never tried, possibly cheaper. When unable to dine in due to Covid restrictions I had it take-away and even in those occasions the quality was outstanding. I recommend pay at least one visit when in Castellammare di Stabia.
