Ho atteso fino alle 15.37 che l'ufficio riaprisse e così non è stato, nonostante non ci fossero cartelli che segnalassero una chiusura straordinaria. Già gli orari di chiusura sono estremamente scomodi per un turista di passaggio (una comitiva arrivata come me verso le 13 ha preferito proseguire per un altro paese, anziché aspettare le 15 per visitare il Teatro, che doveva essere aperto negli stessi orari dello IAT, come da cartello), se poi vengono pure disattesi, non si incentivano molto i viaggiatori... Altro che "ufficio accoglienza turisti". Thursday 6 August 2020. I waited until 3.37 pm for the office to reopen and it did not, although there were no signs indicating an extraordinary closure. Already the closing times are extremely uncomfortable for a passing tourist (a group that arrived like me around 1pm preferred to continue to another town, instead of waiting for 3pm to visit the Theater, which had to be open at the same hours as the IAT, as from the cartel), if they are also disregarded, the travelers are not very encouraged ... Other than the "tourist reception office".

Contatto l'ufficio Iat che organizza sempre con molta disponibilità le aperture dei vari siti. La visita risulta molto ricca in quanto prevede numerose tappe: il Castello, interessante per struttura architettonica, affreschi e perchè sede del del museo della città di recente allestimento, la Chiesa dell'Annunciata, l'Ospedale e la Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Battuti, affescata da Pomponio Amalteo, ed ancora la Loggia, sede dell'ufficio Iat e che all'ultimo piano ospita un suggestivo teatrino veneziano. Passeggiando per la piazza si possono poi ammirare numerosi palazzi, osservare le due porte che si aprivano sulle antiche mura di cinta e riconoscere il tracciato dell'antico fossato. San Vito è particolarmente attivo anche dal punto di vista culturale perchè durante tutto l'anno vengono organizzate iniziative e mostre allestite in suggestivi locali. Anche i visitatori singoli, non annunciati, trovano una buona accoglienza in quanto l'ufficio turistico è aperto anche di sabato e di domenica!! Grazie della collaborazione e a presto!! I contact the IAT office which always organizes the openings of the various sites with great availability. The visit is very rich as it includes numerous stops: the Castle, interesting for its architectural structure, frescoes and because it is the seat of the recently set up city museum, the Church of the Annunciata, the Hospital and the Church of Santa Maria dei Battuti, frescoed by Pomponio Amalteo, and again the Loggia, seat of the Iat office and which on the top floor houses a suggestive Venetian theater. Walking through the square you can then admire numerous palaces, observe the two doors that opened on the ancient walls and recognize the layout of the ancient moat. San Vito is also particularly active from a cultural point of view because throughout the year initiatives and exhibitions are organized in suggestive places.
