β β β β β too bad! I bought the ticket for blue grotto 3 days ago. And today when I come here, no one is in the office. And no one pick up the phone. At last, a old man from an another travel office said to me that the blue grotto ist closed for already one week and probably opens at next week yet.
Then, why this bad travel office sell me ticket 3 days ago? And no one sitting in the office? it should be opend according to their website! And I also don't know how to get my 33Euro back!!

β β β β β We took the day tour to Capri from Sorrento. We got picked up on time but this was the smoothest part of the tour. There were so many people that we were herded from the buses down the lift and to the ticket office. People were pushing and shoving to be first in the line and it was impossible to have any distance between each other. I soon saw why as when we got on the boat there werenβt enough spaces for everyone and people were tightly packed together. When we got to Capri we all got off the boat only to get back on the same boat again. I donβt know if normally you transfer onto a smaller boat as some of the reviews suggest but this didnβt happen today.
On the way back it was similar, everyone rushing to be the first on so they had somewhere to sit. Then, when waiting for the lift, everyone was crushed together for half an hour whilst waiting and squashed into a lift.
The tour people tried to do their best to tell us information about the island and make sure that everyone was in the right place but it was hard with this amount of people. The tour was done in both English and Italian whilst we were going around the island and they gave us some information about it for the 45 minutes it took us.
We enjoyed our day on Capri just not the travel to and from. I would not recommend it to anyone who is concerned about COVID at this time or anyone who wants a more βexclusiveβ type of tour.

β β β β β We had a really great experience on our tour from Sorrento to Capri. Everything went good and we saw the best places of Capri. The staff was caring about everything and they were really nice and helpful, especially Marlene and Francesco. I highly recommend it! ?

β β β β β Rented a rubber dinghy for 3 hours to go round Capri β¦. And also booked the chair lift for Anacapri as well as buses to come and go. Very helpful Marlene .

β β β β β Stumbled into this office when we arrived to Capri on the ferry and asked about boat tours. Within ten minutes we had booked a private tour around the island and our skipper was already waiting outside for us. Really excellent experience. Giorgio, the skipper, was really knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs β he noticed my mom was uncomfortable when the water got choppy and clearly made an effort to keep the boat very smooth after that. We were able to swim in a grotto, and every time we started chatting about some site or building on the island, he told us exactly what it was. Boat was comfortable and drinks provided. Totally recommend.
