★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For sure some of the best holidays we have ever had. The hotel itself - clean, friendly, comfortable rooms with beautiful exposure to both, sea and calm, green inner yard. Our rooms were furnished with everything we needed, all in complete order, incl. safe, minibar, strong WIFI, terraces equipped with tables and chairs, clean, spacious bathrooms. We stayed for 10 days, occupied two rooms on the first floor, all with very comfortable bed and sofas - all in perfect condition. The hotell staff itself, at any function and level, were all extremely kind and always very helpful to us, at any occasion we needed their guidance and support. We had a half board and absolutely loved the food quality and the wine variety offerd there, which were awesome in our common opinion. We would not hesitate to recommend hotel Villamare wholehertedly to everyone who is visiting and staying in Siracusa. Thank you so much for enabling our fantastic holidays and for showing to us your amazing hospitality. Wish we could stay here, with you soon again. Insiders tip: do not miss to order almond granita with briosh for breakfast; do drive and lunch in Noto, spend a day at Limoneto, visit Portopalo, visit and dine at Merzamemi, walk around at Modica and in Ragusa and best of all, do stay at the beach of Caratois until sunset and enjoy the incerdible beauty and the spirit of this amazing place! The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Ask for help and you will get all info you need :)
Breakfast is ok, but can be a bit empty if you're late from bed.
We never tried their dinner but it looked very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel in Fontane Bianche. The rooms are clean and the garden with the pool is great. The breakfast is not too big but delicious and the stuff is always made very freshly. Free car parking and WiFi. The distance to the beach is 50m. Reduced rates are available at the lido fontane bianche for umbrella and two chairs (10€ per day). The water is very clean, clear and the sand very thin. There is not much to do in this village so a car to reach e.g. Syrakus is of advantage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very strong four stars. Location good. Close to the beach. We could hear it from the room. Food and drinks served were very good quality. Staff is more than friendly. Air conditioning worked. Two things that don't line up with four stars are small shower and rooms would do with a bit of fresher look.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, discreet hotel, with very friendly staff and professional chef. The rooms are small, but clean, equipped with minibar, air conditioning, clean bathroom in good condition, terrace. The garden is beautifully arranged and includes a swimming pool and terrace where meals are served: breakfast, lunch (menu) afternoon snack and dinner (menu). The prices are not high but what is most surprising is the quality of the dishes, many Italian originals. The beach is close to 100 m. There is a "free" beach not furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas that I recommend. The sand is fine and the sea is very good for bathing: warm, quiet, a little deep. Nearby there is a terrace with drinks and snacks. Nearby is the private Lido beach, which I do not recommend: € 15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, discounted from the hotel. But the price does not bother but the lack of intimacy: very close, small sun loungers, small umbrella, numerous (non-EU) street vendors who roam all the time, much more than what you have seen on the Romanian coast. But the hotel is worth all the money. There is parking and free wi-fi is very good.
