★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic! It feels like you are invited to come and see the wonderful view of the Etna valley. It is cozy and the owner is very nice. Even though I had no car (hard to reach and leave without a car) and couldn't speak Italian he managed to make it a wonderful stay. The food was very good. I am really impressed and will come back with my future wife. Thank you! Grazie Mille!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my goodness! How amazing stay we had at Hotel Villa Dorata! Very friendly and fun staff. Room was just amazing, huge, with a 'secret entrance' to the bathroom, through the wardrobe door and bathroom itself was beautiful and big.
If you are staying in the hotel, try their food! It was delicious and they have very good local wine. They also produce their own honey (also very good) which you can try it at breakfast.
The hotel is very close Rifugio Sapienza where we went in the morning. I wish we would have another day to enjoy the hotel and food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely place, a wonderful old house, run by a wonderful, helpful and charming host.
The room was very harmoniously decorated. The big bed was comfortable, the bathroom had everything you need. For us, breakfast in the antique dining room was another highlight. From the house you can enjoy a wonderful view over the many volcanic craters to Catania and in the opposite direction to the main crater of Etna. Absolute calm and still close to rifugio Sapienza. A discovery for us! We will be back. Thank you so much!
