Very friendly staff, rooms cleaned on a daily basis, food excellent. Location is a short bus ride from Sorrento without the noise or traffic. Being situated on top of the hill you benefit from cooling breezes flowing over the peninsular.

It's a good, restful environment. Clean, comfortable, helpful staff. As a hotel I'd recommend it. As a eating establishment it leaves alot to be desired and felt very disappointed considering there is so much fresh quality produce within a few minutes of the hotel. Every other restaurant we ate at managed quality cooking with fresh produce. This place uses packaged or tinned produce (tinned fruit, really in Italy?) I travel internationally on a near weekly basis and believe you can tell the standard of a kitchen by the quality of the scrambled eggs. Thiers was as the Navy used to produce on my 1st ship in the 1990's.

Spent a week here early September. Found the hotel to be really Good, the staff were always helpfull and the food was excellent. The location is good if you want away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento but still near enough to walk or catch a local bus.

Have just returned from a two week stay in this wonderful hotel. What a gem. It was perfectly situated for finding our way into Sorrento (by local bus, cheap as chips!) And the front desk staff helped us to arrange some amazing trips to Capri, Amalfi and Positano. The food was delicious and staff throughout the hotel could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. We were lucky enough to be there whist there was a Festival and one night the hotel laid on a special eve where we dined poolside, it was truly lovely. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

What can I say, possibly the best hotel I've ever been to. First of all Sant Agata is a beautiful small town, nice shops, great views from high up looking across the Bay of Naples. Hotel Sant Agata overlooks the Amalfi coast so you can see you are at the top of the mountain. Sant Agata is about a forty minute public bus ride from Sorrento, this trip is amazing, how do they get the bus through those streets, it takes you to the centre of Sorrento right next to the railway station for onward journeys to Naples. From the moment we arrived the staff were wonderful, they told us that it was our holiday and we need do nothing, our bags were brought up, we were shown everything . The pool area was compact but so well appointed, there was a little bar hut where you could get stuff from the bar or kitchens. Pool was cold but as always got warmer as you got used to it, and there was a spa pool. The young lady Mariarca, who looked after the pool during the day was also the bar keep during the evening, she has a wonderful rapport with all guests but yet still makes you feel special enough to believe she's only looking after you. In the restaurant Alfonso is the head of a great team with Bartolo and Giovanna making up the rest of team, Giovanna was our main service provider and she was amazing, great banter great service and Bartolo gave us brilliant service at breakfast. Our rooms were so immaculate, the restaurant the bar area and the conservatory were so well looked after. We could not fault anything about this hotel and really deserves 6 stars if that was possible. So relaxed, I did not want to leave.

Clean, friendly staff, beautiful pool, and cool collection of classic Fiats and scooters. Sant'agata is a wonderful town, and feels very safe. Rooms are small, but comfortable. There aren't really any good places to sit inside the rooms, but really, you won't be wanting to.

Such a lovely hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. The food is good and always plenty of it. Would definitely recommend, especially if you want to get away from it all!

Lovely and clean hotel with friendly staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast, evening meals are well cooked and the choice of three starters and mains is broad and good for all tastes. Overall the food is good for half board. Location is as you'd expect, but quieter than Sorrento so worth the bus ride into the town as opposed to staying there. Overall I recommend this hotel and would stay again.
