Hotel Bellevue Syrene

View is great. Good service but having a drink on the terrace was a total mess. 11 Pidgeons sat around us flying around us looking for our food. I’ve been to a few 5 star hotels but never met staff who can’t do anything about it when you’re paying 15 euros a drink.

From the time you arrive, you are greeted by a member of the hotel staff and are made to feel like their only guest. They walk you through the 1st floor, take your bags and answer any questions that you have. Not having to formally "check in" - what a great thing! The property itself is 5 stars - simply stunning. The food, service, staff...etc you name it are all 5 stars. You have an amazing thing going and you are RIGHT in the center of it all. We will be back in our travels, thank you

I visited the bar and it was a delightful experience for the senses. The view was exceptional, and the decor complimented it nicely (classy rather than cosy). The drinks were well-prepared; we went for Limoncello inspired cocktails appealing to the more eclectic tastes. The service was good, albeit a little slow to begin with. Would definitely recommend ?

My fiancé asked me to marry him at this gorgeous restaurant and our experience here was unforgettable! First, he wanted to share that Francesco at reception was beyond helpful with organizing the engagement. He helped with arranging the table with roses, having the pianist play our special song, they gave us sparkling wine and a special dessert on the house too!! The waiters were so kind and made the experience so pleasant. And the food.. wow!!! It was so delicious. We enjoyed the octopus and lobster starters and the lamb and my steak was to die for! My favourite, the view. This place is beautiful and we would recommend without hesitation! Thank you everyone here who made this night PERFECT!

Excellent view on the terrace of Mt Vesuvius. It wasn't cheap but not to be expected the cocktails were top notch.

Great wedding venue and 10 mins walking to center of Sorento with plenty of shops to distract you along the way. Fantastic views and beach access to beach 4 stories below via elevator.

We arrived to Bellevue Syrene to celebrate our wedding, so we had to choose THE BEST HOTEL IN SORRENTO. And while it is quite pricey, it was worth every penny, and let me tell you why … Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and welcomed into the hotel right at the gate - I didn’t capture the name of the gentleman unfortunately but he was very accommodating and met us with a smile every day! From there BLENDI (the bellman) took care of our luggage and invited us into the lobby, which is the most tasteful and exquisite hotel lobby I’ve ever seen in my life so far (see pics), and I do travel a lot! Right behind the main lobby there is a CLUB LOUNGE, where every day from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. you can get complimentary coffee/tea, snacks, fruit, beer, Prosecco and even Aperol Spritz! FRANCO always did a fabulous job taking care of our party and it was a pleasure to chat with him. As we checked in, VANESSA took us to our room. We had a room with balcony on the top floor, and which is a bit smaller (at least it feels like this) that the ones downstairs, but the balcony was gorgeous and very private. We managed to take great pictures there and had several phenomenal breakfasts with views of Vesuvius. Vanessa saw my disappointment with the room and I explained that we were celebrating a wedding and will be taking Bridal Morning photos in the room. She explained that the hotel was full but VANESSA AND PAULA were able to arrange a gorgeous Astor suite for me to use for a few hours on my wedding day!!! Thank you, ladies, I will forever remember your kindness and care, it truly made my day VERY SPECIAL. We took fantastic pictures! If you can, do book this suite, it is as luxurious as it can be. BREAKFAST is included and is served 6 - 10 a.m., for 10 euros per person you can get it delivered to the room. Thank you GASPARE, MANOUELA, MARINA for taking care of us in the morning. And FRANCESCO was taking care of us at the bar, always with a big warm smile on his face. Bathroom products in the room are the best I’ve ever seen in hotels, and it’s the first time that I saw intimate wash :) I did wish there was a bathtub in the room though … Our room was spotless at all times. On our last night, we got a cute gift box from the hotel with limoncello from Sorrento - how cute and thoughtful! OVERALL - A HISTORICAL STAY THAT WE WILL NEVER FORGET. Truly a five star experience.
