Punta Campanella Resort & SPA - 2

Super expensive, but the property is right by the beach. And boat tours to Capri, Ana Capri, Positano and Amalfi are just steps away. However please note that there is bo easy way to get yo the place, It's about a 95 euro taxi ride from the Sorrento train station. Also, no direct trains to Sorrento. If you plan to chill out for a couple of days at the beach this place is for you. If you're looking for a base to visit places like Capri, Positano and Amalfi you'll save a lot of money by staying at Naples. ;-)

we invited the hotel in booking site and we requested rooms with view to the sea. we were 2 couples in the same invitation, but when we arrived our rooms were located on different floors no view very small old and dark rooms with a small shower- the hotel us 45 minutes away from sorrento un a very difficult road the dissapoinment was big although the staff was nice it was no comfort we went out early in the morning and came back late at night if you go to south italy its not the place you should stay in

Ho can you not like Italy? Amazing weather, amazing food...only be prepared to drive zig-zag serpentines, from Punts Campanula to the surrounding towns. Across from Punts is an amazing Capri. .. The scent of Italian lemons, flowers and unique perfumes envelopes you in blissfull mood....highly recommended visit. It is quite pricey and worthy.

Not exactly new and definitely not a luxury hotel. No pool, 5 minute walk to the stone beach, poor wifi, tiny TV...at least the rooms are clean. 45 minute drive (costing €100 by taxi) from Sorrento with very limited shopping or restaurants nearby. Maybe it's just my unmet expectations getting in the way of the fun around here...or the abundance of jellyfish in the water (I didn't come here for a beach vacation even though I usually love most beaches)

After a long journey through Europe, Punta Campanella Resort and Spa was the PERFECT atmosphere for much needed relaxation. We arrived extremely early and the staff happily accommodated our needs, offering complimentary breakfast while the concierge helped with our heavy luggage to our room almost instantly as we walked through the glass doors. Our experience only improved as our 5 day stay continued. Every morning moving forward we were happily greeted ”buongiorno” for breakfast(with a beautiful ocean view). The private spa is an absolute MUST, following was the best sleep of our lives with a comforting cool ocean breeze and sounds of the gentle sea waves hitting the shore only short steps away! We enjoyed the wonderful restaurant “li Galli” multiple nights and made us feel right at home with family. If you feel like venturing out, you are center to various of the top rated restaurants in Italy(yes, the entire country/world). Traveling to and from the hotel was extremely easy with multiple options by boat, private car, taxi, bus, even helicopter all of which are extremely easy to use with a little help from the knowledgeable staff. Through reception we arranged for a day tour to Almafi and Positano. Also offered is a tour of Capri. The marina is a 1 minute walk away and gives you access to anywhere by sea. Upon our return we were comforted to return to a quieter resort. If you’re concerned about over-packing, pack lighter as laundry services is offered and will be clean and folded on your bed/hung in your closet by the time you get back from your daily activities. The incredible hiking trails are some of the best views on the coast and walkable from the hotel. Everything about this resort was/is top tier and we will certainly be glad to return.

Great stay, hotel is new just rennovated 2019, perfect with family and romantic place. Excellent breakfast quality. Perfect position 50 m from the sea. Suggest to rent a boat one day to discover the coast. Many restaurant and bars around.

A lovely little hotel. Small scale and a bit isolated, but surrounded by some pretty restaurants. The hotel restaurant is also exceptional with a great wine selection. The staff were very helpful. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay.

I recently left this hotel for a honeymoon I was happy with both the service the cleanliness excellent the quality of the food good restaurant service. The room is large with a beautiful sea view, the sea is just steps away. The family who run the resort are really a nice family are kind and always available to please every customer's request. from the hotel it is possible to make the boat for capri the cost and at € 40 and the car park costs € 20. thanks so much for everything Richard
