★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trapped here because the road was closed due to landslide. The room was so-so, the breakfast also nothing special but the view in the morning quite amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am personally reviewing the restaurant as I did not sleep at the hotel. They do fantastic pizzoccheri possibly the best I ever tried. The service is very good as they offered us aperitivo and people are very nice. The hotel itself is also very beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazingly cosy. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The stuff is always keep smiling even if there are some missunderstandig on the both of the side. I've never been at such a nice hotel. I really recommend going skiing to the Madessimo ( Val Chiavena ski Area)for people who doesn't mind smallest place of the skiing areal and for them who wants to almost empty ski slope because of the work week is busy for Italians. They arrive only at weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice hotel owned and run by a very friendly family. I arrived there an evening in May, but due to renovation during the low season the hotel was closed. After they in vain had tried to find another accommodation in the village for me, they put me up in a big three room apartment for the cost of a single room. They even offered me a bottle of wine from their own wine yard for free (which I unfortunately had to decline because I wanted to travel light). I give my very best recommendations!

Absolutely amazing food. The presentation was already looking delicious but it tasted even better. And all the staff was super friendly. The outside area is brilliant in the sun and the view on the Spluga Pass.
Had a soup of the day which was spinach and it came with a roasted bread and a dumpling.
The salad was one of a kind and probably the most beautiful salad I’ve ever seen.
And the cheese board with local products was delicious.
Can only recommend to stop here for some food. Next time I’m here I will stay for a night and enjoy the Spa of the hotel.
Strongly recommend this place.

This hotel is run by a lovely family which is reflected in the very personal service and eye for details. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the food was really wonderful and contained a lot of local ingredients. We definitely will comeback
