F	F I on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pessima esperienza, nonostante una mail di avvenuta registrazione di una camera matrimoniale ricevuta per conferma ,lo stesso giorno di arrivo in struttura venivo contattato telefonicamente dalla reception per informarmi che la camera a me assegnata non era più disponibile per un loro disguido. Cosa dire di più non si avvisa due ore prima del check in ho dovuto cambiare destinazione, a mai più. Bad experience, despite an email confirming the registration of a double room received for confirmation, on the same day of arrival at the hotel I was contacted by telephone by the reception to inform me that the room assigned to me was no longer available due to their mistake. What to say more is not notified two hours before check in I had to change destination, never again.

Siamo stati in questo albergo per partecipare ad un matrimonio, ma torneremo sicuramente per vacanza Truly excellent facility. Mrs Filomena is a perfect hostess and her cappuccino is delicious. We stayed at this hotel to attend a wedding but will definitely be back for vacation

La signora dell’hotel ci ha accolto in modo eccellente dandoci ogni indicazione necessaria per la nostra permanenza. Camera pulita, spaziosa un po’ retro ma accogliente. Ottime colazioni, consigliatissimoo!!!!! Our stay was very positive, we immediately found ourselves very well. Attentive, polite and friendly staff. The lady of the hotel welcomed us in an excellent way, giving us all the necessary information for our stay. Clean, spacious, slightly retro but cozy room. Excellent breakfasts, highly recommended !!!!!

Questo è situato in un palazzo storico, sede dei cavalieri di Malta per secoli. Non solo l'hotel è bello e ad un prezzo accessibile, ma la proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile ad intrattenere gli ospiti sulla storia del palazzo e a descrivere i pregevoli affreschi delle sale. Consigliato Venosa is worth a visit, not only because it is the city of Horace. Looking for accommodation, we were lucky enough to find a place at the Orazio hotel. This is located in a historic palace, the seat of the Knights of Malta for centuries. Not only is the hotel beautiful and at an affordable price, but the owner is very kind and willing to entertain guests on the history of the building and describe the valuable frescoes in the rooms. Recommended

C	Carlotta Volterrani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'hotel si trova all'interno di un palazzo storico stupendo, ben tenuto e centralissimo. Davanti alla struttura c'è un parcheggio gratuito. A piedi si raggiungono tutti i luoghi di interesse. Le camere sono spaziose, un po' stile anni 70/80. La nostra aveva un bellissimo terrazzino con un tavolino e due sedie, con una vista molto bella. La colazione è stata super abbondante, con prodotti freschi e fatti in casa (e la cameriera super brava e gentilissima). I proprietarii sono stati molto cortesi e gentili! The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building, well maintained and very central. There is free parking in front of the property. On foot you can reach all the places of interest. The rooms are spacious, a bit 70/80 style. Ours had a beautiful little terrace with a small table and two chairs, with a very nice view. The breakfast was super abundant, with fresh and homemade products (and the super good and very kind waitress). The owners were very courteous and kind!

Occupa parte del palazzo antica sede dell'ordine dei Cavalieri di Malta, il Baliaggio = la residenza del Balì il loro capitano. Tutta la struttura è stata restaurata in maniera molto accurata, soprattutto la scalinata e le stanze comuni sono spettacolari; si fa colazione sotto volte affrescate!! Le stanze sono situate al piano di sopra, arredate semplicemente, ma confortevoli. Io avevo una singola non particolarmente spaziosa. I proprietari e la loro zia ultracentenaria sono gentilissimi e ti fanno proprio sentire benvenuto. Un ringraziamento particolare anche alla signora che prepara l'ottima colazione, che a causa mia ha dovuto anticipare l'apertura di mezz'ora. Dalle finestre e dai balconi poi il panorama sulla campagna lucana è fenomenale. Un gran bel posto, ci tornerò di sicuro. Business trip, I choose this hotel in the center of Venosa. Great experience! The Baliaggio = the residence of the Balì their captain occupies part of the ancient palace seat of the order of the Knights of Malta. The whole structure has been very carefully restored, especially the staircase and the common rooms are spectacular; you have breakfast under frescoed vaults !! The rooms are located upstairs, simply furnished but comfortable. I had a single not particularly spacious. The owners and their over 100 year old aunt are very kind and make you feel very welcome. A special thanks also to the lady who prepares the excellent breakfast, which due to me had to bring forward the opening by half an hour. From the windows and balconies, the view over the Lucanian countryside is phenomenal. A great place, I'll be back for sure.

Un ambiente intimo e caloroso, ci si sente a casa da subito grazie alla disponibilità e gentilezza dei gestori. Accurata pulizia, nessun rumore molesto, il tutto nel centro storico della bellissima Venosa. Buona la colazione, accompagnata dalla voce della dolcissima Cinzia che ci ha raccontato tutta la storia del palazzo. A fascinating historic structure, former home of the Knights of Malta! An intimate and warm environment, you feel at home immediately thanks to the availability and kindness of the managers. Thorough cleaning, no disturbing noise, all in the historic center of the beautiful Venosa. Good breakfast, accompanied by the voice of the sweet Cinzia who told us the whole history of the building.
