★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marina di noto is a nice little place near Noto. It has hotels, bars, and some b&b's. In summer it gets pretty crowded with people, both locals and tourists. There you can take a swim, go sunbathing and have an ice cream or a beer at the bars - some of them are on the beach too. In winter all shops are closed and there's not much to do apart from walking near the sea and enjoying the silence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived late afternoon in the hotel for a one day stay. Reception was very friendly, hotel is relatively new. A road separate the hotel from the beach.
Pro:
New stylish interior for a moderate price
Wifi connection is good in the room and fast
Free rental of camping chairs and umbrellia when you go to beach
Con:
Shower in the bathroom is a bit flimsy and requied considerable adjustments before it works
Roof terrace was not (yet?) accessible.
All-in-all I can recommend the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was low season but still a bit disappointing that some of the features wasn't available. The masseur never showed up, the spa was out of order, the sauna took 2 hours to fix, and the rental bike had flat tyres (though it was also free to ride).
The restaurant is next door and would as well get 3 stars.
When I was getting to Noto the public bus got cancelled and I had to call the hotel. The manager asked if I wanted a taxi to pick me up and I accepted without thinking of the price. The taxi wanted to be payed for the ride both to and from the hotel. 120 Euro. As I explained to the manager if he had shown the courtesy to tell me that beforehand I would have taken another taxi but given a better review.
In general the staff except the manager doesn't speak English but Google translate goes a long way. They are though still very helpful.
The rooms were fine, everything worked. The breakfast was excellent.
Final thought: a good 3 stars hotel where the details are lacking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel ok, no one speak english so it was quite hard for us sometimes. Really close to the beach. Breakfast ok but limited. Mini bar empty.

Looks nice on the pictures but a nightmare inside: when we arrived, there was no hot water, wood instead of glass in the windows, paint was coming off the ceiling, mold everywhere, no sheets on the blanket and a nice 1 cm gap under the door made sure that you hear everything from the lobby. And this was the superior room :DDDD
