Hotel Club Eloro - Contrada pizzuta

All inclusive? So you want some water at night? Perhaps brush your teeth or take medication? Well tap water isn't drinkable and buying a bottle costs you €2. All inclusive.... right!

Very bad hotel for the price. Bad food, all inclusive soft is a joke, even after we paid extra money to get upgrade they gave us bad quality alcohol and coffee. Air conditioner did not work for 3 days. They lied to us for giving us a new room because of the air conditioner. Paid Internet 2ero a day. No towels on the beach. Pizza restaurant was always packed and if you get there on time you will not get a pizza. To long breaks between meals. Lunch from 1230-2pm and then dinner 730pm-9pm. First time in my life I had an all inclusive and was actually hungry. The beach was nice and so was water, but the sun beds were uncomfortable and limited. So even if you paid 6euro for it on the beginning of your trip, there is a chance you will not use it. Stuff was pretty rude, very poor English. Definitely overpriced vacation. You are not allowed to drink water but they did not give you water in the bathroom to brush your teeth (like everyone else does).

Our vaccation in Eloro was simply wonderful. We enjoyed it from A-Z and we will definitely come back. The beach was the cleanest we have ever seen in Europe. Sandy coast with enough beds and umbrellas for free. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Just the hair dryers were old and super slow. Otherwise the cleaning ladies came every day and did a great job for us to feel cozy. Restaurant was superb. Not only delicious pasta from fresh sweet tomatoes, but also variety of meat, seafood, fish, sallads, oľives and cakes etc. I cannot emphasize enough how full and Happy we were every day :D Normally we travel independently and go to random places to eat. And honestly, if we had to pay for all these delicious meals somewhere else, we would spend fortune. Cause everything was fresh, tasty and top quality. In the hotel we also rented fiat car for 2 days and went to Catania, Etna, Cavagrande, Syrakus, Marzamare and Noto. Everything went well, fast, the prices were reasonable. We bought full insurance and enjoyed our trip to the beautiful locations. The employees of the hotel were very nice, welcoming and helpful. The barmans and waitresses were always smiling and kind. And especially we admired the animators. They were all days ready to entertain us with sport, fun or music. Their acting and dancing skills were incredible and we enjoyed their performances very much. Thank you Eloro for lovely time. We will come back and explore another part of marvelous Sicily.

The Beach is really nice. The food was not the best but still ok. The hotel room was ok, bathrooms were really clean. The cleaning service every day was just great. I have to say that I admire the girls who clean, they work really hard. The only thing what was really wrong was the noise and that I couldn't rest enough as I wanted. If you want to take rest it s impossible! Disco's till next morning so if you are upstairs you can not sleep because of the noise! In the morning you can not sleep because the breakfast is only till 9.30 so you have to get up early otherwise you will be hungry till lunch. On the Beach you can not sleep because all day long is the music there on! People who work there.. Don t you think that your guests deserve for at least a few hours of sleep a day? You have to pay for the internet 2 euro a day and sometimes it doesn t work. I do not recomend if you want to take any rest. If you don t need to sleep go ahead. I will definetly not come back!!!!!

Service was quite okay, the front desk staff is very nice and helpfull. However the staff was not very fluent in english it was not clear wat was included within the all-inclusive bracelet, just after reading the hotel information booklet at the front desk( there is not one in your room) we found out that certain cocktails were included as well. Also all the opening times of restaurants were put in there which were not really mentioned properly. The hotel itself is very focused on italian and french speaking guests which is a shame if you're Dutch,German or English yourself. It makes it so much harder to get the information you want. Wi-Fi is not included it costs 2 euro's per day per device which is strange in today's standards, and even if you bought the voucher to get Wi-Fi it is not even that good. The coverage and signal strenght is weak to average and downloading an episode on netflix costed around half an hour. The excursions you can do are okay but not great we booked the tour to the etna volcano 4 days in advance, the morning we were supposed to go our names were not even on the list, whilst people who arrived the day before were on the list. Eitherway we were allowed to go along, but then again our guide was french, she did not speak English very well and was focused on the french speaking people instead of all the passengers.

Hotel is simple but nice. Staff is nice, but some off them need to find a job without guests. The food is most off the time cold and the wifi is really insecure... Really insecure! For the kids there is a nice swimming pool and a really lovely beach. Hotel is clean and the rooms are cleaned everyday really nicely!

Great ambiance! Usually not a fan of animation teams but this one made me feel at home. Very nice, just like the people working at the bar and buffet. Private beach (bring your own towel. And flip-flops, sand is hot). The food was good, could have more variation. Breakfast good. They have four different places to have dinner, that's nice! After a few late nights with disco sounds we asked for a room on the quiet side of the hotel and they arranged it for us. I'm quite sure we will visit again!

Hotel is being renovated with some quirks to be ironed out yet (or never as usual for Italy) elevators don't like to take more than 3 people and the water pressure is spotty at best. This is the places the hotel miss the opportunity to be great. Apart from these, it offer a nice beach, good cooking with many options to choose from, insanely nice natural reserve right next to the hotel (7eur entrance fee). Just fix the water pressure please :)
