Hotel Club Helios

Bellissima vacanza in una location su uno splendido mare. Il servizio è impeccabile, il direttore e lo staff pronti ad ogni richiesta, locali puliti, camera e letto sempre profumati. Cucina assortita, abbondante e di buona qualità, piscina pulita ed invitante. Parcheggio comodo, non so se il lido sia dipende dall hotel ma magari un po più di cura non guasterebbe. Torneremo certamente per una prossima vacanza.

Vorrei fare qualche considerazione su questo villaggio con un potenziale altissimo ma deludente dal punto di vista della struttura. Inizio ad elencare gli aspetti positivi: Mare stupendo e spiaggia privata in una posizione invidiabile, sdraio nuove e pulite, il personale fa la differenza, gentili e disponibili, ti fanno sentire a casa, camere, pulitissime. Animazione molto brava. Cucina nella media, si mangia benino considerando che siamo sempre in un 3 stelle di meglio non si può trovare. La piscina è molto grande e curata, il bagnino è sempre nei paraggi per qualsiasi necessità. Ora parliamo degli aspetti negativi, quello che non mi faranno tornare in questo villaggio. Camere troppo vecchie, non avevo più visto camere del genere da almeno 30 anni, nonostante fossero molto pulite la presenza di quei mobili con uno stile così vecchio dà l'impressione che sia tutto sporco, (ripeto le stanze sono pulite) ma è imbarazzante nel 2021 che si trovino strutture così. Il letto non ha rete, ma sono due materassi uno sopra l'altro. Balconi con ringhiera arrugginite, corridoi, ascensori, scale e ristorante scarsamente illuminati come se volessero risparmiare sulla bolletta, basterebbe qualche led di nuova generazione per fare vedere tutto con un'altro occhio. In camera ci sono le lampade quelle che devono scaldare prima di illuminarsi del tutto e quando si illuminano non è che facciano la differenza. Prezzi al bar esagerati, se non ci si dà una regolata si rischia di spendere più della vacanza stessa. Per avere il lettino in prima e seconda fila bisogna pagare un extra di 20€ al giorno. Personalmente lo consiglio se volete passare qualche giorno al mare ma senza grosse pretese per il confort in camera.

Sicuramente la posizione, direttamente sul mare splendido della Sicilia. Cibo. Sia la qualità che la quantità erano scarse.

To begin with, you have to remember it's a 3 star hotel. The place this hotel is built in, is truly astounding: beautiful sea-view, sand, kind of remote from cities so it is not crowded. However, remoteness comes with some downsides, for example there is no night-life, no local shops (only some mini-markets that offer you a small range of things you can get, additionally, prices are exorbitant compared to supermarkets. In my opinion, one of the worst things about this place is breakfast. Once you get to the so-called restaurant, you notice there is little you can eat: slices of some kind of meat, probably pork, that was bought on any supermarket, cheese and yogurt. Maybe italians tend to eat croissants for breakfast but I don't count it and all sorts of muffins food. As well as that, there were no vegetables, only fruit. The dinner was decent enough, though. The most important thing to know before getting here is that the staff's English skills are humorous. So learning basics of Italian will certainly help you out. Furthermore, the room is simple, it has furniture from 90s, haha. The balcony hasn't neither a table, nor any chairs (no ash tray as well). There was a string tied to "balcony fence" so we used it as a drying hanger. I guess you could see how it all looks in their page or wherever. To put it all in a nutshell, don't choose this place if you love night-life. Familiarise with Italian because you will definitely need it. Prepare for dessert-only breakfast. And don't expect too much from a 3 star hotel ! Cheers.

Worst experience I never had in a hotel. Service was terrific. The manager took one hour to do the checkout and was saying that he don’t have the time his family was waiting to eat with him.. The checkin is at 4pm and the checkout at 10:30am .. I never see something like that before. The breakfast was so poor if you came at 9am don’t expect to eat something.. and the room I felt like I back in the 90’. This hotel don’t dercerve three stars. Ah and if you need WiFi don’t expect to use it in this hotel you’ll need a lot of patience...
