★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big, nice air-conditioned rooms with a beautiful dining hall that opens up to a terrace facing their lush garden. They hosted the wedding I came for and they know what they are doing. The only drawback was the food which lacked creativity and didn't have the classic Italian flare. They have wifi with decent speed.
If you can stay in an Airbnb house! You will get more of the real feeling of the city. I've been in one that felt like a historic house and it had a gorgeous kitchen with all other amenities needed for half the price of the hotel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me start off by saying that this hotel is in a very secluded and hard to get to area. The reception staff, in particular, Sonia is rude and non accommodating at all. Not a friendly environment. Would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for 3 nights in May with my Girlfriend. The room was fresh and clean, spacious and the views over the mountains were just breath taking. As for the staff, they couldn't be more accommodating to two English only tourists. Lovely garden too.
Amazing place, great value, I vow to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here with a group of eight friends. It was delightful! The rooms were spacious, and the furniture was authentic, not faux modern. They opened a small conference room for us at no charge so we could socialize in the evening, and offered a beautiful breakfast buffet in the morning that put most hotels to shame. The manager was also delightful. We would definitely return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've just returned from my second stay at Hotel II Cavalier and, again, it didn't disappoint. Really great value, and super friendly staff. Amazing gardens too. I will definitely return for another visit as it is a great place to tour the surrounding wonderful countryside.
