★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, it is important to understand that the rooms are small and very basic. There is no AC and the building is ageing. This is not a 'five star hotel' I am rating it based on what it is, a 2 star hotel I believe. Having said that they are very clean, and the fan is adequate for cooling you off enough to sleep.
Now the good: the owners are kind and hospitable but most importantly the husband is an incredible cook!
For dinner I had the best pasta that I have had in years. All homemade from fresh ingredients. Simple but absolutely delicious.
The breakfasts are bordering on luxurious. Croissants, pastries, and bread baked fresh that morning. Delicious fruits, cheese, cold cuts and espresso/cappuccino made to perfection.
Finally, the location is perfect. Close to the park, very close to downtown and close to some amazing old buildings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. You can't call it a hotel, because the owner of the pizza restaurant turned a flat into small hotel rooms. There was a very annoying smell of disinfectant in the hallway and the room itself was very small, noisy and very old (especially the bathroom was very bad). In addition, you can't sleep with closed and since we had a room facing the street, we couldn't sleep from about 5:30 a.m onwards because that's when the rush hour traffic started. Breakfast was only available from 8:00 to 9:00 in the run-down pizza restaurant, which reminded us very much of a messy dwelling. The only good thing was the location.
