★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you are holidaying in the Sorrento region you cannot do better than this Hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We stayed there from 12th Oct til 19 Oct 2013, my partner and myself in one room, and mt partners mother in another. As part of our coach tour of the area we had a very early start one morning, but it was no trouble at all for the hotel staff to start breakfast about an hour early so we could eat before we left, other people on our tour complained that the other hotels in the area would not do this for them. We stayed half board and the evening meals are all home cooked Italian cuisine with a 3 choice, 3 course menu every evening, and if there is no choice you like then a quick request will get you something else. The rooms are as you should expect in a small Italian village on top of the Sorrento peninsula and very clean. As for Sant'Agata itself it'll take about 10 mins to slowly walk the length of the high street but everything is there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Air con didn’t work, couldn’t fit in the shower, old, felt dirty laying in the bed which I couldn’t sleep in. Got dumped here as part of a holiday package. Food was bad, there was hair in mine. So confused why it’s rated a 4 star hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for 2 days while with a tour. Beautiful place and very nice people. However, the a/c doesn't work in all the rooms so make sure you check that first. Would give them 5 stars if it wasn't for having to deal with that. Beware, some showers are only 20" square, if that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel - staff really welcoming & the breakfast in the morning had such a wide selection that was tasty. I would recommend to book a car parking space in advance, as when we tried on the day there was no space available. Many free places to park outside in and around the streets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been with the family in this historic hotel for a weekend and had a wonderful stay. I was impressed by the efforts that all the staff made to accommodate our requests (thank you guys). I will certainly consider this place when I'll be back the Sorrento area.
