meat is delicious and the bread are fresh and soft. We had a great time

β β β β β A wonderful meal on a warm spring evening. The owner was so charming, even going as far as to fetch on of his "competitors" from the next restaurant when our minimal Italian skills ran short.
We will return on our next trip :)

β β β β β Delicious food at decent price despite being on the most touristy strip of the village! This place was filled with local grabbing a late lunch when we stopped by and there's a reason it's popular amongst locals and tourists: handmade pasta. We shared a bruschetta on large thick bread. Husband had a creamy cacio e Pepe and I had the daily special, their meat lasagna al forno. We were both pleased with the food. The only downside: bread served after the meal and small location, so you'll need to stand up p when others want to come and go.

Maybe an off day. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 young children. It's not easy for either guests or hosts, but the service was lacking at best. The carbonara was good, and the cacio pepe looked nice. 2 of the 4 adults ordered ravioli and this dishes were forgotten. We even asked the server about them and he said they were coming right out. After another half hour after everyone else was finished we were told there was a mistake and they will be right out. If you've ever dined with children, you'll understand how sitting patiently for half an hour can be quite impossible. Furthermore the pasta itself was dry and far from exceptional. I would add I was the only american in a group of Italians, and this was not a case of expecting the same style of service as in the US. This was bad by any standard. Im sure the overall experience could have been much better with a little more care and attention, and that the food would have been better if it hadn't been rushed. Possibly an off day, but we got the feeling we were an inconvenience instead of guests.

β β β β β We dined here because my better half saw tv show in which some famous guy reviewed the restaurant and he proved to be good.
Unfortunately, that was not something we witnessed.
Food:
Food was mediocre, okayish. We had 2 course meal where we waited little bit over half an hour for second course to come. When it arrived, potatoes where as cold as they can be. Saltimbocca was eatable, *swimming* (literally) in grease and nothing spectacular although they are proud of it for some reason.
I dont want to be too harsh as Iβm no professional, but from what I have eaten so far I would give it 3/5.
Staff:
Absolute zero. We ordered 1/4 L of a wine, never got one. When wanted to pay not that they have never brought a wine to us but charged like we ordered 0,5L and even nagging about it.
I know no Italian, but I can tell that they were telling some bad words on my name while discussing between each other on Italian in order to solve βmy caseβ.
They also never brought us fork and knife for second course which was hilarious ?

We will happily never return to that restaurant.
