★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic service. I needed to get my daughter from Florence airport to the university for her study abroad semester. The Hire in Italy team was extremely responsive and helpful. The driver met my daughter at baggage claim just as they said he would. I was also informed that he was "super sweet and carried all of her luggage". They also let a travel companion who was part of the same program who had not yet arranged transportation to the university hop in the car at no charge. These guys are awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I wanted to do a hike in the Tuscan area while we stayed in Florence. We had an option of renting a car which would mean standing in line to rent a car which is always a painful experience, driving among all the crazy city drivers and trying to follow directions to our departure spot or having someone pick us up at our hotel, drop us off at our hiking spot and picking us up six hours later for the return trip to our hotel. I phoned Mirko of Italy For Hire and with less than 24 hour notice he arranged the driving service. His drivers were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Italy For Hire!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just returned from a wonderful vacation in Italy. While in Florence we booked a private driver with Hire in Itay to take us to a few towns/wineries in Tuscany.
We originally had a rental car but decided a few weeks before our trip to book a private driver and we are so glad we did. Alessio, our driver, was amazing! We spent 12 hours with him and he was such a delight. He picked us up from our hotel in Florence and came right up to the lobby to greet us. He was professional, super friendly and knowledgeable. You could really tell how much he enjoyed his job and how much care he put into the time he spent with his guests.
Booking our trip with Mirko was also easy and a great experience. We exchanged emails a few times to make changes to our itinerary and were very happy on where we decided to spend our time - Montelpuciano, Montelcino and San Gimignano. Beautiful day. Highly recommend booking with Hire in Italy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Hire In Italy for a driver to take us to the towns in which my ancestors had been born in. These towns are not near the normal tourist locations.
Our driver, Ricardo, was punctual, provided for our comfort, and quickly and safely got us to our destination. He provided background information that helped us understand the region as well as advice on how to meet our objectives. He was quick to adapt when I made mistakes, and helped us to make a potential family connection by sharing our journey with the residents in his very engaging manner.
We highly recommend Hire In Italy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the perfect day exploring Tuscany thanks to Alessandro, our driver, and the Hire in Italy team. We left from Florence and headed towards Montalcino. On the way, Alessandro suggested a stop at the American-Florence Cemetery, which was inspiring. From there we went to a winery we selected followed by lunch at a winery arranged by Hire in Italy. The wine and lunch were outstanding. After quick stops in the villages of Montalcino and San Gimignano it was back to Florence. Alessandro was a perfect driver in every respect. We highly recommend Hire in Italy to anyone who would like a care-free way to explore Italy.

Email reply was immediate and thorough and helped me arrange for just what I needed before I left the States for Florence. Though essentially a solo business trip, I enjoyed the day with my driver tremendously, especially our very interesting conversations, but also his professionalism and expertise. I very much appreciated his patience with my complicated series of stops, and his effort to make sure the day was a success. The timing was perfect, as we avoided traffic and accomplished everything!
I would certainly recommend this service again and again!

The day was amazing, he tailored the tour to match the needs and interests of everyone, as we drove through Chianti and Val d'Orcia. All the food/visit recommendations were on point and the conversation interesting. It was a blast! Absolutely recommend them.
