★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Thursday September 2, 2021 I went to the Kiosk and purchased a ticket for the Skip the Line Vatican tour. I was told the guide would be with me in about 10 minutes and then the Kiosk closed. I sat and after waiting about 30 minutes, a guide approached me and explained that I would be getting a replacement guide and she asked me to follow her. We walked about 15 minutes to another location (a different tour office) where a second guide accompanied me to the guide that was supposed to take me to the Vatican. Meanwhile, I am tired of walking (and have a bad knee--I'm a senior citizen). When I finally got to the wait-site (up a steep hill across from the Vatican), another "interim guide" told me to wait just a few minutes. Another 30 minutes went by and I finally decided to leave. My big mistake was paying in cash--had I paid with a credit card, Habemus Tours would not have my money. I understand that things happen and sometimes substitutions have to take place but the amount of time I had to wait was inexcusable. My money should have been refunded right there. And if the company is professional and legitimate, they should refund my money via Paypal. Jill Watkins

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff of this “office” are standing at the entrance of the street leading to the museum. They tried to convince us that they were working for the Museum and if we hadn’t bought a pre-purchased ticket, we could only buy an on-site ticket at their office for 25 euros. And because of the covid, they are not being sold at the original entrance…. Nonetheless we went directly to the Museum, where we bought our on-site tickets for 17 euro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You get to skip the queue and a guide. Except that there is no queue, the guide spent 5 minutes explaining basic things and 50 minutes of walking and getting the tickets. The tour is supposed to last for two hours. It’s been one hour now and we are not even through the ticket office. It’s a waste of money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scammers. They will tell you what you want to hear, but you will not get any services you have paid for (f.e. audio guide, direct entrancy to basilica from sistine chapel). The guide told me it happens all the time and smiled, while she was the one brought us from the ticket office to the museum.
Purchase your tickets online or inside the museum, do not listen to any egyptian guy that we will help you to get inside ?
Nice try with an answer, but there were a lot more people telling the same. Read it twice or three times until you understand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was scammed into this tour by their barker, who had promised to me a guided tour to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's basilica without having to queue to enter the latter. Not only the St. Peter's tour was not included (let alone the 'skip the line' part), but on top of it he also lied to me by saying that, if I'd go alone, I'd pay 35€ to enter the Vatican Museums (while the true figure is just 17€). This way I was fooled, thinking that their surcharge for the guide was really a bargain, while in fact it was more than twice as much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SCAM! Do not use this company if you are visiting Rome. When trying to go up the hill towards the Vatican Museum we were stopped and told we weren’t allowed up without a ticket - this is completely false - and we were then led across the street to a shop to buy tickets. They charge 3x the ticket price and say it covers all entry fees and a an English speaking tour. The tour was given by a woman who could barely speak English and just pointed at signs. When we entered the museum it was quite clear that you can in fact purchase your ticket from the museum and you don’t need one prior to entry. The tour was sloppy and I had a much better experience once I broke away from the group and walked around the museum myself. Do not fall for this like I did!! They prey on tourists to scam you. Ticket entry is €17, we were charged €57 EACH!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was walking in street to go to the Vatican Museum and this man was acting like I couldn’t pass without a ticket. He was saying if I have a ticket I have to walk on the right and acting like I can’t walk on the sidewalk at all with having a ticket to the museum. He told me, and I quote, “the line is long, building gets about 5,000 people, if you want to see the museum you need a ticket.” I am from America with T-mobile, my phone service here is very slow so I couldn’t reserve my ticket online and I didn’t want to walk to the museum with the possibility of having to walk back. I go in this agency and they keep advertising there’s a student discount. Spoiler alert, the discount only applies if you’re under 25 years old. I was told a ticket was €27. Aka, €10 more than what is charged at the museum. Charging me €10 extra for what? Whatever, I leave with a ticket. I walk to the museum and there is NO line and you can buy tickets inside without a “reservation.” Mind you, at least 4 people stopped me to tell me I needed a ticket before I could even WALK on the sidewalk to the museum. Nothing but scammers who prey on tourists and price gouge for absolutely no reason. Just avoid their tickets.
Side note: I’m sure there the fact that it is December has a lot to do with the fact that I could just walk up to the door (essentially) and this might be a completely different scenario in the summer or other busy months.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tour with Francisca, who is very knowledgeable and patient. We were a slower moving group due to having kids and seniors, but Francisca was patient and polite, she did not seemed rushed like other tour guides. Francisca explained all the painting with precision and knowledge, many of the paintings history was extremely fascinating. We did the tour in Spanish. We paid 50 Euro for a 3hr tour and express entrance.
