Ruddest staff we have encountered in Italy so far. We were dressed casually and we were invited to leave one of the galleries and were sent to the β€˜Souvenir Shop’. Keep your glass. So glad I didn’t soend any money at your shop.

The master doesn't show up on the weekends they say, so I guess the apprentices do the show. ( At least that is what I thought he said) The guy who was doing the explanations wasn't too enthusiast nor did he look like it. 3 Euros and you have multiple people directing you to this place.. I don't know if it was worth it. The information we got, we could have Googled it.

Genuine murano glassmaking. Wonderful glassblowing demonstration for 3 euro, the best that we saw on Murano. They are so full of passion and pride about their products, and it really shows!

Absolute disgrace to how to behave to clients! Read a review earlier about someone describing as rudest staff they ever met! I second that. Visited Murano yesterday. Someone recommended this place. The glass making demo was not on. I walked into the showroom with my wife and two adult children, youngest aged 18. We were very keen to buy some original murano glassware to take back to UK. Within a minute of being inside the shop, one man told us something in Italian. The delivery and tone was sounding threatening. He pointed to the door and repeated it twice more. I asked " are u closing" although this was at 12 noon! He repeated the same thing in Italian gesturing to the door in the same rude tone! We didnt touch any item on display and in fact I was about to buy some glassware. We trooped out and another man followed us out and said" the boss is like this sometimes , unpredictable, sorry , we are not closed, but he said so to you" !!! We left and bought stuff from a larger shop just beyond this. They had a larger showroom , more than twice the size of this store with larger variety of items and fantastic staff, who patiently explained the items, prices and even recommended some stuff which are good as gifts. Total contrast to the rude " boss " of this shop!! I would strongly recomend to avoid this shop and choose somewhere you will get some respect as a customer or at least as a fellow human being who just wandered into a showroom you opened to sell your stuff!!! It was an insulting experience. Never had that in my life. Totally understand the comment by the earlier person " please keep your goods" ....we can always find another place observing basic courtesy in their behaviour towards customers.

The master glass blower demonstrated the making of a glass jug, a horse and a fish sculpture. He had fantastic skills and was also a good performer. Costs 3 euros per person but definately worth it. He also allowed children to have a go at glass blowing and gave them photo opportunities. Tourist friendly but didn't feel tacky. Really enjoyed the experience and the master's demonstrations!

It is a very good demonstration about the making glass work art. The master created many figures with glass and with an unique ability and skill. These create me awareness about the hand-made glass vessels and art of Murano and learn how to recognize the machine made and hand-made. It is really worth to attend this demonstration to value the Murano's art.

Staff was very attentive and worked hard to explain the origin of their glass pieces and the background of the various artists. Lots of beautiful glass art. Google describes this as a souvenir shop.....not even close!

Surprised to see some negative reviews on here. Especially considering it’s rated as the number one attraction in Murano on TripAdvisor. We found it to be very good and perfect with two young children who wanted to see the glass blowing in action rather than a long winded history lesson. We arrived just as a demonstration was starting and we sat down and watched the guy make a jug and horse statue. Really clever, really insightful and just the perfect amount of time (approx 15 mins). The man showed the kids the sand that is used to create the glass. Then invited the kids up for pictures holding the tools and standing in front of the glass ornaments, with the furnace in the background. Perfect for what we wanted.
