★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible! The best way to visit the grotto and really enjoy the time there (swim or something) you can hire a private boat. May not be that cheap but if you go with 5 or 6 people it's worth it (120-150 € for 2:30 hours)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a private boat tour with the skipper around the island and it was the best spent money in this island. All day tour with local skipper who will take you to hidden, non- touristic places, like over crowded and overrated Blue Grotto. If you a swimmer, then definitely get the private boat tour so you can explore other blue grottos around the island which are hidden from tourists and are open and free.
