β β β β β The guard doesnβt know the Covid regulations and did not let us in with valid US and Canada vaccination certificates. Only green pass for European Union.

β β β β β Empty halls, empty rooms, overgrown gardens. Where is all interior? Does anybody take care of this place?
There is a nice view from the terrace, but still - nothing that much better than the thousands other terraces around the island.
Leaving a star for the Diefenbach gallery and the (partially) preserved church.

β β β β β Mostly empty, of people and features alike. The gardens were overgrown and there were some repairs going on
The Diefenbach gallery and the church are nice though and the indoors areas were well kept.
If I could I'd give it 3.5 stars

β β β β β Made it here for a free concert for the legendary Eugenio Bennato while visiting Capri for a day trip. The place is amazing and the organization was alright (par an unexplained delay). Lighting of the stage was magical accompanied by the beauty Capri offers. Would love to come back for more cultural events.

β β β β β The monestary is a quiet and peaceful place. Sadly, the interior gardens are not maintained, grass 2 feet tall and overgrown gardens full of weeds. There's nothing inside the buildings, no furniture, nothing to see other than some dreary paintings. The area with the view was closed.

β β β β β Stunning venue for art and example of 14th century Caprese architecture. The building has a storied past with faded frescos and long, empty hallways. It has a mysterious air with mildly overgrown areas and clean, but empty rooms with amazing views of the sea. The art exhibition is like nothing I've ever seen with the natural lighting highlighting the oil paintings which were already expressive and dramatic. Off season, it was β¬6 for two people (cash only), and fully worth the quiet, off-the-beaten path exploration.
