β β β β β Don't know what to say.
The cave is really small and you spent 3 minutes inside, just doing a loop and going out. This "place" costs 31β¬ per person (17β¬ for the boat ride and 14β¬ for the entrance of the cave).
Really expensive.
Yet, it is a unique place, with this deep blue light inside the cave while everything else is dark.
Your call then

β β β β β A lot of fun. But be careful the guides do a great job taking you inside on the row boats but they expect a very good tip!

β β β β β I was first a bit hesitant to go here because I expected it would be very crowded but luckily we only had to wait for a few minutes until we got on the boat.
Our guide was very friendly and once we got inside it looked very impressive. However we only stayed there for max 5 minutes inside and paid 14 Euro per person (+tip afterwards).
Overall a great and unique experience

β β β β β Honestly, it's a tourist trap. You need to take a ferry ride to Capri, another boat ride to the Grotto (we chose a private one with our friends) and then the small rowboat inside. The price is $14 euros pp to go inside the Grotto plus the required tip for the rowboat who explains that the more generous you are the more time he spends inside. Basically a few hundred euros for a 5 minute trip inside the Grotto. The trip there is amazing as the sights are beautiful but that's about it.

β β β β β Amazingly blue water. The person rowing sings and serenades in Italian. If you go later in the day May have to wait 60-90 minutes

β β β β β It is really worth going once. All it is is a Cave with a small opening from the sea on the side of the island but once inside the Cave is about 100 feet in circumference and about 50 feet in height. Without sunlight it would be totally dark but the sun light gives it a bright blue beautiful glow. 100 feet above the Cave on the island has the grotta of Mother Mary. It is 14 Euro per person to get on the row boat plus 10 euros tip- so total 28 Euros per person to see the Cave which lasts about 3-4 minutes. The row boat holds upto 4 tourists. You can get on the row boat and see the Cave either from land or from one of the bigger boats that takes tourist to the blue grotto from the ferry area. To go by land tourists need to take 2 busses one to Anacapri then another bus to the blue grotto. It is bit confusing at first. There is a small store and a resturant next to the blue grotto, which has beautiful views of the ocean but expensive. The water is crystal clear and blue.
The people running the boating service, demeanor, the gestures makes it look like a mob run operation. No receipts, no printed tickets, cost of trip not written anywhere, the short 3-5 minute trip will cost a family of four 100 Euros.

β β β β β It is definitely a very touristy place, but it was on my bucket list, and now it is checked. We arrived Capri by ferry from Sorrento. It is only a 25 minutes journey, but it costs around 20 euro each way. Then we took a wooden motor boat from the port out to the cave. The weather was super and we had a great trip. The distance from the port to the cave is only about 20 minutes. Then we waited for our tour with the row boat into the cave. The boat can take up to four passengers. It costs 14 euro and the captain expects tips. So, yes it is definitely touristy, but once inside the cave, wow! The colour of the water is amazing, and there is nothing artificial about it. I read that one of the Roman emperor's used to spend his days swimming in the cave. I wish we could do the same although the water still was s bit chilly in April. We took our pictures, listened to the Sole Mio and returned with a big smile. The trip from the port of Capri and back only takes about an hour. It's pricey and touristy, but I am so glad to have experienced it du to the fact that the cave itself is so amazing.
