Carina da vedere, era un piccolo rifugio per viandanti o eremiti. Bel panorama anche da vedere! Poi tornando in basso, di può risalire un sentiero, anche questo mediamente ripido per andare sulla cima del Monte San Vicino a poco meno di 1400 metri. Da sopra bellissimo panorama da ammirare! Short walk starting from the base of Monte San Vicino. Path of medium difficulty, with a point with stones that is a bit steep. Nice to see, it was a small refuge for travelers or hermits. Nice panorama also to see! Then returning to the bottom, you can go up a path, also this on average steep, to go to the top of Monte San Vicino at just under 1400 meters. From above beautiful panorama to admire!

Il percorso offre refrigerio anche in pieno luglio è quasi tutto all'ombra del bosco. ⚫ Dalla radura antistante la grotta si vedono i Sibillini anche se in lontananza. Si vede anche la cima del Monte Vettore subito dietro al Priora, alla sua destra. Ho allegato in foto la cartina e la foto con i nomi delle vette. La grotta è piccola e c'è una seconda grotta più piccola a sinistra. ⚫ brevi cenni storici Questa grotta sembra essersi stata abitata in passato da eremiti francescani e forse lo stesso San Francesco, anche se non sembrano esserci prove storiche per quest'ultimo. Vi invito a visitare il sito i Luoghi del Silenzio per maggiori informazioni storiche. Easy route suitable for everyone, as long as they have a firm step and full motor ability, when without snow. The path offers refreshment even in the middle of July and is almost entirely in the shade of the forest. ⚫ From the clearing in front of the cave you can see the Sibillini even if in the distance. You can also see the top of Monte Vettore immediately behind the Prioress, on its right. I have attached in the photo the map and the photo with the names of the peaks. The cave is small and there is a second smaller cave to the left. ⚫ brief historical notes This cave seems to have been inhabited in the past by Franciscan hermits and perhaps St. Francis himself, although there does not seem to be any historical evidence for the latter. I invite you to visit the sites of Silence for more historical information.

w	wi wa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ist not marked at the sign near the street but follow the red/white signs wich starts at the right hand side up (i think its 1684). It is about 300m track through the forest bit up to the rocks. Small little cave with a great view.
