Splendido lo scenario naturale che la circonda. Cave overlooking the gorges of the Fiastrone inhabited first by hermitages then by Franciscan monks who had made a small monastery there. The natural scenery that surrounds it is splendid.

Si percorre qualche km di strada sterrata fino a raggiungere uno spiazzo dove poter lasciare l'auto. Il percorso è breve e piacevole, con leggero dislivello. Il paesaggio è suggestivo e rilassante, a pieno contatto con la natura e con il suono del fiume Fiastrone che scorre nella gola... L	Luca Galletta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dalle Lame rosse il sentiero a metà strada diventa davvero impegnativo, soprattutto al ritorno che è in salita, assolutamente da non affrontare con bambini o non attrezzati. Valutate bene se ne vale la pena prima di partire. Il posto in se è suggestivo, ma per me non vale la fatica che necessita la strada x arrivarci. From the Lame rossa the halfway path becomes really challenging, especially on the way back, which is uphill, absolutely not to be tackled with children or not equipped. Evaluate well if it's worth it before you leave. The place itself is suggestive, but for me it is not worth the effort that the road needs to get there.

Sarà un km se partite dal piazzale dove potete lasciare la macchina ed iniziare la camminata, scegliendo di passare per la frazione Villa di Cessapalombo. Seguite le indicazioni e vi troverete su di una stradina percorribile anche in bicicletta, la fate tutta anche in macchina ed arrivate appunto, al piazzale dove la potete lasciare e continuare a piedi. Il posto è molto suggestivo e almeno noi non abbiamo trovato nessuno, soli soletti, fantastico!È una passeggiata da fare vestiti sportivi, portandovi acqua e magari qualcosa da mangiare! Molto piacevole, la consiglio! Beautiful route surrounded by nature and woods! La discesa per arrivare è abbastanza impegnativa, infatti dalle Lame Rosse non abbiamo visto nessuno avventurarsi verso la grotta A very special place, unfortunately it seems abandoned to itself.
