Nel periodo natalizio diventa un luogo molto visitato e frequentato per la grande varietà di pupi e presepi molto ricercati. E' situato nel centro storico di Matera ed è un punto di riferimento storico per ogni cittadino materano.
Emporio Morelli or better known as 'Michele la stoppa' is much more than a normal general store. It is part of a piece of history of the city, being active since 1883. In the Christmas period it becomes a very visited and popular place for the great variety of puppets and very sought cribs. It is located in the historic center of Matera and is a historic landmark for every citizen of Matera.
