Questo tipo di luogo rappresenta nell'immaginario popolare il nascondiglio ideale per Anguane e Salbanelli, anche se dei ragazzi del posto che abbiamo incontrato ci hanno assicurato che d'estate, quando fa caldo, loro vanno spesso a fare il bagno nei gorghi e mai nessuno è stato vittima di queste creature! Per arrivare consiglio consiglio la strada che da Valle S. Floriano verso Ovest conduce a Contrà Placca. Parcheggiare in questa contrada e svolta rte a destra in direzione nord verso Contrà Capo di Sopra. Si percorre la stradina cementata che risale ripidamente la valle tra il torrente "la Valletta" e il bosco. Dopo circa un km si trovano delle indicazioni (verso destra) che permettono di raggiungere una suggestiva cascata. Oltrepassare il torrente in direzione di un vecchio baito recuperato che costeggia la strada. Subito dopo alcuni cartelli alla sinistra indicano un sentiero alternativo solo per esperti; quello del "sito naturalistico dei Gorghi Scuri". Seguire il sentiero che si inoltre nella valletta nel folto della vegetazione. Dopo qualche centinaio di metri si giunge al primo dei gorghi, detto "Gorgo di mezza". Qualche metro più su si trova il "gorgo scuro". In questo tratto di sentiero il terreno è spesso bagnato e scivoloso; prestare attenzione a dove si mettono i piedi! G	Gaetano Cavaleri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorghi scuri questo percorso ci porta a scoprire uno dei siti naturalistici più suggestivi del nostro territorio i Gorghi scuri cascate presenti lungo gli alvei del torrente la Valletta uno scrigno di acqua di sorgente .Durante il cammino ci immergiamo in un tratto di bosco rigoglioso alternati a lunghi filari di viti e olivi messi a dimora su terrazzamenti che seguono le linee sinuose della collina in un paesaggio di rara bellezza .Le colline di San Benedetto sono così denominate in ricordo di un antico convento di fondazione benedettina oggi purtroppo non più esistente .Anche del convento di Sant Appolinare di probabile fondazione longobarda non esiste più alcuna traccia se non nei documenti vescovili .Lungo il percorso però così come in questa guida vogliamo ricordarli per perpetuare la memoria di coloro che qui giunsero per portare aiuto e conforto contribuendo alla crescita e allo sviluppo della comunità locale .Collegamenti con altri percorsi ..Le grandi maniere della val costolo ..Sentiero natura di San benedetto ..Le piccole masiere delle contrade di Busa ..Bionda e Campi ..percorso 5 sentiero dei ciliegi..totale tempo di percorrenza 12 km e 800 ..in due ore e mezza altezza 650 metri . S	Silvana Stocco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupenda passeggiata in periodo autunnale. Tante cascatelle lungo il percorso in un contesto naturale vergine.Percorso ben tracciato. Sicuramente da consigliare a chi ama camminare in contesti naturalistici. Superb walk in autumn. Many waterfalls along the route in a virgin natural context. Definitely to be recommended to those who love walking in naturalistic contexts.
D	Denis Carlesso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il sentiero dei gorghi scuri l'ho fatto in discesa partendo da Pradipaldo dietro il ristorante da Tranquillo, è un luogo incantevole vicino a Maristica ma fuori dal caos. È incantevole e vale assolutamente la pena andarci a fare una passeggiata. p	pettirosso54 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passeggia nella natura. Un sentiero facile nella prima parte fino a quando non si scorge sulla sinistra il primo vero alto salto d'acqua. Di lì in avanti seguendo sempre le indicazioni, il percorso si fa un po' più impegnativo. Niente di particolare per chi va a fare del trekking, meno x chi con le scarpe della festa pensa di percorrerlo. Qualche piccolo attraversamento rende più "avventuroso" il giro. Purtroppo la grave carenza d'acqua toglie moltissimo alla spettacolarità che potrebbe avere. Mezz'oretta il percorso dalla fine dell'asfalto fino alla fine del percorso indicato dalla buona segnaletica per gorghi scuri. Oltre si procede per altri sentieri più specialistici. Walk in nature. Lungo il percorso ci sono cascate negli alvei del torrente La Valletta, uno scrigno di acqua sorgente. Durante il cammino ci si immerge in tratti di bosco rigoglioso, alternati a lunghi filari di viti e olivi. Noi abbiamo scelto di partire dalla Valle san Floriano, abbiamo seguito le indicazioni per i borghi scuri e Pradipaldo dove abbiamo fatto una sosta colazione. Al ritorno abbiamo seguito le indicazioni per le colline di san benedetto chiudendo il circuito alla chiesa di Valle san Floriano. Suggestive route a few km from Marostica.
