★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most interesting and beautiful gorges we can find in this beautiful country ( Italy ).we can experience the breathtaking views of the mountainous area.the hiking trail is not so difficult but in some places you have to pay more attention specially when you walk downhill of the path.also everyone must keep on their mind there is a very high possibility to fall down rocks or trees ( specially old and dead trees ) to the walking path.i said this because we experienced this when we coming down the trail and luckily nobody was there when suddenly a old,dead tree fall down from the uphill.anyway this gorges is a magnificent place to visit and it feels like you are in another different time where time has not pass .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Short excursion very suitable for the summer period as it runs for a good stretch of the narrow gorge of the Infernaccio with lots of shade and coolness. The Hermitage of San Leonardo is also very nice, which unfortunately cannot be visited now.

We came, we saw, we conquered (No) We came, we saw, and Mother nature allowed us to leave.
Be careful and check the weather before heading off.
Good hiking boots will help but not necessary. Hiking sticks are left by fellow hikers at the start of the trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wild and mystic trail in the forest. Follow the unpaved route until a parking area. You begin your walk by entering Infernaccio from a narrow passage in the mountain. The path stretches along the valley following the river course. There are different alternative trails you can choose from. One of them brings you on the top of the mountain where an ancient monastery lays undisturbed. Another one leads you to the river springs from where you can experience great panorama and observe the rocky peaks of the Sibillini range. Bring food and water with you.
