★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic wine store ! Extremely knowledgeable staff ! Wonderful selction of Italian - Mainly Sicilian ! - wines. Elisa is really an expert in Sicilian wines. (Christina and Elisa both speak excellent english).
We were staying with a large family group about 15 minutes outside Riposto,and we made the trip to Glass several times ! We tasted several dozen bottles of Rosato and Bianco, and few Rossos, over a three week period.(And their selection of Sicilian sparkling wines was wonderful) Elisa's recommendations were delicious, moderately priced and all interesting - Elisa knew the back story on most bottles . It was fun to taste wines that are not largely available outside Sicily - Viora sparkling,
Versante Nord, Marabino Rosato de Naro D'avola..too many to mention.
Being introduced to 'Glass' by our host in Sicily was a godsend.
I can't say enough about how great this store is - staff, shop, wine selection, all impeccable..and at good prices !
Go, taste ! You'll love it if you care about wine !
And if you're in Riposto - don't miss Vico Astemio restaurant , at the opposite side of the building from the wine shop. The chef Max is the brother of the wine store owner. We had two incredible meals there - the fish is absolutely pristine !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice wine bar with a lot of choice of good wines by the glass. We had dinner here as well which was fantastic. Fresh ingredients cooked with respect for the products. The tiramisu was the best I have had in years. Very good value for money, we didn't spend more than we did yesterday in a very average pizzeria. The hostess is very knowledgeable about the wines and speaks Engish well. Sicilian hospitality at its best, 100% recommended.
