Sempre inerente al servizio se porti un insalata mix devi anche far avere ciò che occorre per condirla anziché chiamare noi dopo molta attesa . L’acqua devi tenere anche quella imbottigliata e non d’obbligo quella con bottiglie tue brandizzate e non chiuse ermeticamente. Insalata mix non da bistrot ma da bar , devi darmi qualcosa di diverso e non un mix di ingredienti messi alla rinfusa, primo e secondi nella media, prezzi consoni, qualità’ media . Location moderna, ambiente caldo, tavoli anche all'aperto. Cucina moderna non troppo elaborata. Prese due pinzotte romane buonissime saporite e con materia prima di qualità. Le patate dolci americane fritte sono spettacolari di sapore e qualità. Nel complesso rapporto qualità-prezzo ottima, servizio preciso. La posizione del locale non è proprio centrale ma di contro la sera parcheggiare non è un problema. La prenotazione delle ore 13,30 è già considerata secondo turno: a Catania non è pensabile. Delle offerte presenti sul menu buona parte era “già terminata”. La domenica locale chiuso e pranzo del sabato delle 13,30 con buona parte delle pietanze terminate ………. Aggiungo che le busiate alla tarantina erano pasta, purtroppo scotta, poco mangiabile con salsa di pomodoro e tre/quattro cozze, i burritos tex-mex delle semplici piadine acquistate e farcite con una poltiglia non ben definita senza alcun pezzetto distinguibile, gli involtini primavera ripieni anch’essi di una poltiglia senza ingredienti percepibili e la tortilla catalana non aveva nulla del gusto affumicato della scamorza presente tra gli ingredienti citati. Dolci, con gusti non simili agli originali, mangiabili. Giustifico il tutto solo se a pranzo è frequentato da chi ha necessità di mettere del cibo nello stomaco velocemente e a poco prezzo. È possibile che la proposta serale sia di altro tenore e le recensioni positive facciano riferimento a quest’ultima. A lunch …. embarrassing. Even more so by reading the good reviews. Il locale è meraviglioso e soprattutto con decorazioni uniche come le ricette dello chef. Tornerò sicuramente e pure a breve.
