★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good park to take a break and rest. The monument is surrounded by turtles and there is a water fountain in the entrance of the park close to the monument and plenty of benches to sit and rest under the shade.

How cool is that!
They just live there and chill. It seems like they've been living there for a long time.
The park is beautiful too.

After the monument there is a path that is sent directly to the Sea.
It's a kind of park with some bench and a small water source near the monument.

The previous year we never came down to see the statue, when we got home I discovered that the base of the statue has turtles in it. This is possibly the understatement of the year, it probably has over 100 turtles at its base, it’s incredibly chilling to look at turtles while you enjoy the weather, whatever it’s doing.
After my first review in 2019, yesterday (April 2022) I got to visit again, lovely to see all the turtles swimming in the water and enjoyed the turtles chasing the giant fish at the base of the monument.
This is a must stop location whether your an animal lover or a parent as there is always some great fascination to watch these turtles living their best life!
